Praise the Lord my dear Sister's and Brother's in Christ.

I just wanted to write a short note to say....THE SAME POWER THAT RESSURECTED JESUS CHRIST FROM THE DEAD IS THE VERY SAME POWER THAT WILL RESSURECT THE DEAD PLACES OF YOUR MARRIAGE AND PUT LIFE BACK INTO IT!!!!!

1 Corinthians 6:14 - By his power God raised the Lord from the dead, and he will raise us also.

There is nothing to hard for God. The same way you have believed for others, your children, your family members, your loved ones....YOU CAN BELIEVE FOR YOUR MARRIAGE. IT IS NOT TO LATE!!!!!

Remember how you declared to others that PRAYER CHANGES THINGS....Well, that same prayer can revolutionize your marriage and restore the sanctity of the vows you both took. You can do it....you can stand in the gap as the intercessor for your spouse seeing them as a son/daughter of God. Prayer for your spouse brings ONENESS and that gives you and your spouse power that the enemy desires to weaken. HE IS A LIE!!!

You have to decide to believe, trust, determine, know, THAT GOD IS BIG ENOUGH. Don't write off your marriage it is not too late....would you tell the doctor to KILL your loved one when they are still breathing, their heart is still beating, their vital organs are still function (although weak)...I THINK NOT.....Neither should you pull the plug (divorce) on your marriage because there is still life there. Husband/Wife it is just time to do CPR and that is work....but it is worth it...it brings BACK TO LIFE!!!!

You can do it with the help and directives of the Holy Spirit...I got out of my bed to tell someone that tonight.

Hello All:

I don't know how many of you have heard in these past few weeks have heard of the story that CNN did a few weeks ago on son of Bishop Paul S. Morton's son, P.J. Morton's book, Why Cant I Sing Love Songs, but it has caused a bit of a controversy. (The link to the story is below...)

I am familiar with P.J. Morton's Christian music renderings (for example, he penned the song Let Go, Let god which was recorded by DeWayne Woods) but not at all familiar with his R&B works. I think that he is,indeed, a gifted writer (as far as gospel music) and as the son of a preacher, do not doubt that he knows the Word. But the story raised a lot of questions... I would like to get your opinion on this story...Bishop Morton makes a statement in it that I found startling, and I will generate a poll regarding that this evening, but until then have a look at the blog that he did after that CNN story...In it you will find comments made by me (under the name dcarlb) directed to him that kind of tell you where I stand on the issue that he is addressing. It's been a bit since we've had homework here in Heirs, but I will need you to watch these two videos and give your opinion on the matter...

I have had people to find it amazing that someone my age who has known a world of sin cannot be provoked to the use of foul language. I have even heard the words, "You are Holy for real." Now, exactly what does that mean? I do not and would never consider myself to be "Holier than thou" as some what put it. I do however do as our Savior did. I ask, "Whom say ye that I am?"
My ability to keep my conversation chaste is simple, and I would like to share this formula with you. Are you ready? . . . Here it is:

PROTECT YOUR GATES

What does that mean?

It means this:


Be careful of what you allow into your ear gates,
And what you permit to enter your eye gates.
They determine how your brain operates.

Do you remember that saying from at least one person whom you heard trying to put you or someone else down? People use to say things like:

Trash in equals trash out.
Lie down with dogs, you are bound to get flees.
If you eat with the pigs, you are bound to get muddy.

The same thing applies to your spirit man.
If you allow junk to enter into your ear gates and your eye gates, it will settle into the station from which your entire body functions. At some point, corruption finds a way of escape.

Therefore, PROTECT YOUR GATES!!
Each one plays an important role in the words you formulate,
and the defilement or beauty to which you can relate
as-well-as what your spirit man can tolerate.
Your understanding comes from the place which controls these gates.

The head is the highest place on an individual. It houses the brain and is the central station of the body's operations. If the head or that which is contained therein is damaged or destroyed, there is no need to conquer the body for the whole has been defeated. What you allow to enter your gates can either enhance or prevent your ability to enter into God's gates with praise.
Knowing that this battle is not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, the powers of darkness, and spiritual wickedness in high places, be therefore as wise as a serpent, but as harmless as a dove.

Have a blessed weekend as you meditaite upon the goodness of the Lord and ALL that He has done for you.

I recieved this in an e-mail. It made so much sense that I decided to
share it with you.


At the University of Chicago Divinity School each year they have what
is called "Baptist Day." On this day each one is to bring a lunch to be
eaten outdoors in a grassy picnic area. Every "Baptist Day" the school
would invite one of the greatest minds to lecture in the theological
education center.

One year they invited Dr. Paul Tillich. Dr.Tillich spoke for two and
one-half hours proving that the resurrection of Jesus was false. He
quoted scholar after scholar and book after book. He concluded that
since there was no such thing as the historical resurrection the
religious tradition of the church was groundless, emotional mumbo-jumbo,
because it was based on a relationship with a risen Jesus, who, in fact
never rose from the dead in any literal sense. He then asked if there
were any questions.

After about 30 seconds, an old, dark skinned preacher with a head of
short-cropped, woolly white hair stood up in the back of the auditorium.
"Docta Tillich, I got one question," he said as all eyes turned toward
him. He reached into his sack lunch and pulled out an apple and began
eating it.

"Docta Tillich.. CRUNCH, MUNCH "My question is a simple question,...
CRUNCH, MUNCH.... "Now, I ain't never read them books you read. CRUNCH,
MUNCH.." and I can't recite the Scriptures in the original
Greek...CRUNCH, MUNCH ..." I don't know nothin' about Niebuhr and
Heidegger...CRUNCH, MUNCH... He finished the apple. "All I wanna
know is: This apple I just ate, . . . . . . was it bitter or sweet?

Dr Tillich paused for a moment and answered in exemplary scholarly
fashion: "I cannot possibly answer that question, for I haven't tasted
your apple."

The white-haired preacher dropped the core of his apple into his
crumpled paper bag, looked up at Dr. Tillich and said calmly,

"Neither have you tasted my Jesus."

The 1,000 plus in attendance could not contain themselves.. The
auditorium erupted with applause and cheers. Dr. Tillich thanked his
audience and promptly left the platform.
Have you tasted Jesus?

Please pass this on Saints! Jesus has risen...and He's coming back one
day... "Taste and see that the LORD is good; blessed is the man who
takes refuge in Him. If you have, rejoice in the hope of the
resurrection that your faith in Him brings." Psalm 34:8!

(PLEASE taste my Jesus!!! He leaves a sweet taste you cannot forget!)

Jesus Christ who died due to crucifixion, extreme exhaustion, severe torture, an abundant loss of blood, and being consumed with the greatest love is NO longer in the tomb.
He hung his head and died. Witnesses saw blood and water flow from him when the Roman soldiers pierced his side to assure that he was no longer alive. At the same time, the temple was rent in two parts from the top to the bottom, and the dead got up from the grave and walked among the living. The centurion who stood over against him declared, "Truly this man was the son of God."
However after three days and three nights, it has been discovered that the stone which was sealed has been rolled away from the mouth of the burial place. The cloth in which the body of Jesus was wrapped has been discovered balled up in the corner of the tomb. The napkin which covered his head was found wrapped together in a place by itself. There have been reported sightings of the risen Christ among his disciples. Doubting Thomas said that he would not believe until he placed his fingers in the holes in his hands and thrust his hand into his side. According to the report of his disciples, the man known as Jesus stood before Thomas and ordered him to come and do as he had said he would have to do to believe that he had risen. Because the Christ has risen, salvation has been given unto all who believe him to be the Only Begotten Son of God, who hung, bleed, died, and rose again after being in the grave for three days and three nights as Jonah had been in the belly of the great fish.
Because he lives the hope of salvation and the promises of God are available to all who believe. The final report has yet to be published as it is reported that he goes to prepare a place for mankind and if he goes to prepare a place that means that he WILL come again. This report is to be continued and updated on the day of harvest. For now, have faith, believe, and seek him for yourself.
