Juke Boxx Productions has established itself as a highly regarded imprint with an impressive and consistent track record of bankable successes. Starting with its debut release, Capelton’s Place Burn Down on the Klymaxx rhythm to the most recent monster hit, Mavado’s Money Changer on the Warning project, Juke Boxx Productions has unleashed a continuous series of hit tracks.
The Klymaxx rhythm project was followed by the successful Statement, Confessions, Tap Dance and Chaos rhythm projects featuring the brightest stars in reggae including: Shaggy, Bounty Killer, Vybz Kartel, Macka Diamond, Rik Rok, Da’Ville, T.O.K., Sizzla, Tanya Stephens, Ninja Man, Elephant Man, Voice Mail, Anthony B and many others. The projects each spawned a series of chart topping singles including Gash Dem by Chuck Fender, Brooklyn and Jamaica by Morgan Heritage and Capelton’s Pull Up.
Departing from the roots reggae sounds for which Juke Boxx Productions became synonymous, the Warning exploded in the dancehall with a stripped down, hard core beat. The breakthrough project showcased the talents of DeMarco, Serani, Munga and Bling Dawg among others.
Producer Shane C. Brown is the driving force behind Juke Boxx Productions. From his humble beginnings at Tuff Gong studios as an apprentice engineer in the analogue studios, to his current status as a leading studio and live mixing engineer, Shane has developed his talent. His extensive list of mixing credits includes projects for Universal France, Barkley Records, Geffen and Sony. He has been contracted by successful producers such as Christopher Birch, Deseca and Donovan Germain. He has lent his talents to tracks by Jamaican luminaries Jimmy Cliff, The I Three, Dean Fraser, Chakka Demus and Pliers, fallen stars Dennis Brown and Garnet Silk, international talents Chakka Khan, Black Uhuru, Cleb Khaled and Alfa Blondie and current stars Luciano and Sizzla, just to name a few.
