Marketing our music, what works and what doesn't
Posted Feb 09, 2008 at 11:55 AM, Last Edited Feb 09, 2008 at 12:40 PM
Here is a question for the days discussion, what are the most effective marketing and sales strategies that we can use as a group and as a profession to market our material to Radio stations and increase exposure to benefit all of us as a a group? I am wanting to hear suggestions and comments on things that have worked and results that you achieved. Also tell the group of things that were tried and maybe didn't work quite as you wanted it to. Any and all feedback is welcome!

Well, The easiest way is knowing someone who as already achieved what you want to, such as getting their song played on the radio. If Not..
* Have A Website like Stepehgibb.com or whatever you want it to be * To make money you need to invest money, so already record music in good quality * Sign up at every possible networking site as possible, Youtube, Myspace, Bebo, etc. * Get People involved with your projects and always make sure your close friends tell you what they think and how your music could be better. * When the time is right and you accomplished the above, then you can contact a Radio Station and See what they can do.
These are just simple tips that are mandatory in becoming successful. Let Me know if any of this was helpful to you.
