Some 22 million residents make Texas the second most populous state in the nation. Bordering New Mexico, Arkansas, Oklahoma, and Louisiana, the Lone Star State is home to many legends about Davy Crockett, Jim Bowie, and the Alamo. Texas is also the place where you’ll find the Riverwalk, Big Bend national park, and a host of sports teams, including the Mavericks, Spurs, Rockets, Rangers, Astros, Cowboys, and Texans.
