Lil Wayne recently revealed that he will be re-releasing Tha Carter III with all brand new songs.

The superstar rapper divulged to MTV that he plans to release the new Carter III prior to dropping the highly anticipated Carter IV.

“A new Carter III with none of the same songs. None of them. Not one!” explained Lil Wayne. “It's gonna be called ... Tha Carter III: The Rebirth. The birth of a new beginning.”

Wayne revealed that some of the new songs featured on the new Carter III will include songs that never made the original Carter III.

“I had a song with [Luda] called 'Eat You Alive' that was supposed to be on [the first] Tha Carter III. That will be on the new Carter III,” Lil Wayne said.

No release dates for the new Carter III or Carter IV were revealed.

Crack. Albums. Widgets.

Doesn’t matter to 50 Cent. A hustler’s a hustler. Or a businessman.

And according to the G-Unit boss’ new MTV show, “50 Cent: The Money and the Power,” it shouldn’t matter to you either.

Fif will star in and host a reality television show that pits contestants against each other in a series of challenges with the winner receiving seed money for their idea from the rapper.

“If I was just my image,” 50 said in a statement. “I wouldn’t have made this much money.”

The rapper is a Forbes recognized entrepreneur who has manged a successful record company with business dealings in clothing, radio, and a stake in Glaceau Vitaminwater, which netted the rapper a $100 million plus profit.

In “50 Cent: The Money and the Power,” the 14 contestants shared housing in “Camp Curtis,” a warehouse in Brooklyn. The hopeful moguls were selected by 50 himself and will be judged by a wide panel of guest judges. LL Cool J, Danity Kane’s Aubrey O’Day, Lloyd Banks, and Hot 97’s Miss Info will all appear on the show. G-Unit member Tony Yayo will serve as Fif’s “Underboss” on the show.

“50 Cent: The Money and the Power” is scheduled to premiere Thursday, November 6 at 10PM on MTV.—Anthony Thomas
