♡♥About Shinichi Kudo♥♡
Shinichi Kudo was a brilliant 17-year-old high school student who excelled at crime solving -- especially crimes involving murder. The son of a famous mystery novelist and a well-known actress, Shinichi earned fame in his own right as the salvation of the Tokyo Police Force. It seemed no mystery was beyond his abilities to solve.
Then one night, Shinichi stumbled upon some strange black-clothed men who were in the middle of blackmailing and extorting millions of yen from a high-ranking business official. Before he could do anything about it, however, he was attacked from behind by the man's partner, and knocked unconscious.
The black-clothed men, part of a mysterious crime syndicate, were unwilling to kill Shinichi right out, due to the massive police force patrolling the area. Not wanting to leave any trace of their presence, nor evidence of their attack on Shinichi, they force-fed him an experimental poison, which they believed would destroy his body completely and leave no trace. They then left Shinichi for dead, before the police could stumble upon them the same way Shinichi had.
The poison worked... but not in the way the men from the dark syndicate expected. When Shinichi regained consciousness, he found, to his surprise and horror, that his body had shrunk into that of a 6- or 7-year old child.
Now, masquerading as elementary school student Conan Edogawa (a name he picked from two of his favorite mystery authors), he continues to solve mysteries, all the while trying to find the men from the dark syndicate and find a cure, while at the same time keeping his identity a secret. For he fears that if the men from the syndicate knew that he still lived, both he and his loved ones would be in mortal danger.
