Description
Subject: shopslides.com project meeting 9 am CST Friday 8/24/2006 Note - the new, later in the day time We are having a go to meeting with the developers of the slideshow project on Friday 8/25/2006 at 9 am Central Standard time. We welcome your participation at this meeting. The meeting will show our desktops and there will be a phone conference as well. The slideshow chat meem will be in use also. A hundred members of our user community have been invited to this meeting to share their feature requests. TagSlides is our 4th generation at http://tagslides.com and we're working a a 5th generation of the product which will be discussing. We'd love to hear your ideas on what the next generation should include in the way of features. Our 2nd generation product, http://web2.0slides.com got great reviews and continues to be a popular destination for folks who want to get up to speed quickly on the emergent web 2.0 landscape. Please join my go to meeting on 8/25/2006 at 9 am CST at https://www.gotomeeting.com/join/453169976 Conference Call: Dial 641-497-7310 access code 453-169-976 It is at 7:30 pm IST (India Standard Time) in Hyderabad 10 am EST - 8 am MST - 7 am PST SlideShow is a place for both team members and the user community for the "slides project" which has it's virtual "home" at imeem. http://web2.0slides.com is our second generation site and http://tagslides.com is our fourth generation site. (yes, there was also a 1st and 3rd generation too) Our fifth generation will encompass click free browsing via a slide show, community, import/export with social bookmarking and social networking services like stumbleupon, myspace, technorati and del.icio.us. With the social bookmarking/networking connectivity you'll be able to view your own del.icio.us bookmarks - or others - as an interactive slide show. You'll be able to see a slide show of your myspace (or maybe even imeem) community members. You will be able to browse your favorite blogs effortlessly and get a blog fix like no other. Will this be addictive like imeem? We hope so. We also have a private group at imeem called 'slides' which is for working team members and advisors. Feel free to email tagslides@tagslides.com for more information about joining the team, being an advisor, etc or just leave a message on imeem for me, Paul Walhus. We have about 80 slides sites covering all the major subject areas. And we're looking for editors and developers to be collaborators with us on these "niche" topic sites like http://sportslides.com http://musicslides.com etc. etc. Do you have an interest in this?
