I had Jill Scott's new cd a little earlier than the release date. I'm glad I did.

This latest work of hers is oh so very grown. She's at a point in her life where I suppose she's just letting go, you can definitely hear it in the lyrics (Crown Royal on ice anyone?) she's sporting a little bit different of a sound but for me she's so talented she just can't go wrong really. I think that for die hard Jill fans this one may have to grow on you but PLEASE give it a chance. You won't be sorry I promise.

As far as my musical tastes?....I don't have a specific one. I like whatever moves me.
