Imani the Misfit is an internet celebrity, American enterprenuer, record producer, rapper, singer- songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, actor and porn model from Maryland. Imani has had his music played in several nightclubs in the Washington DC area and has a written jingle for Go-Go Radio. He is also the star keyboard player for Tempo, an alternative Go-Go band based out of Largo, Maryland. He may be best known for his internet presence on Myspace where he has over 27,000 friends (As of March 18, 2009) and his appearances on websites such as SGGDC, PA Palace, HipHopGame, Real Rap Talk, Sole Collectors, and Vlad TV . Imani built a reputation for himself through the internet as an arrogant comedian-like character by promoting his mixtapes while taunting his peers in political and social debates. It is his alternative and sometimes extreme views of the world that has helped to establish his celebrity. He has most recently been recognized for posting pornographic pictures of himself on the internet.
