It's finally here! The debut stream of my very first mixtape, "Soul Music." I hope you like it. I gave it my all. I'll admit, however, that I mixed it (the vocals) and in my opinion, not my best job but whatever...it's just a mixtape. lol

Please, please, please leave feedback and let me know what you think. Tell me which songs are your favorite or you like the most. ;) This is it, y'all, until my official demo project, which I plan to do things BIG with in 2020. This is my last collection of songs.

Tell a friend, add the playlist, add some songs to your profile, help me get this music out there!! Also, if you twitter, please, be sure to follow me @officialnarel for the very first in breaking news regarding Na'rel!

I just simply LOVE these 'Word for You' devotionals and had to share this particular one that helps me to keep me focused on my individuality. I thought just maybe it would be a blessing to someone else!

“Who Are You?”
A ‘Word For You Today’ Devotional

“He fashions…hearts individually.” (Psalm 33:15 NKJV).
The likelihood of anyone else in history having the same genetic make-up as you, is zero. You’re not just another brick in the wall or another nail in the carpenter’s toolbox. God “personally formed and made” you (Isaiah 43:7 TM). You’re the only “you” He created, so if you fail to be who you are His Kingdom won’t benefit from your unique contribution. You’re not your parents (which is good news for some of us!) or your Uncle Joe or Aunt Molly or somebody else you’ve been trying to please or model yourself on. It’s okay to learn from others, but always be what God called you to be. The Bible says: “Don’t compare yourself…take responsibility for doing the…best you can with your…life” (Galatians 6:4-5 TM).
The question is: Who are you? Before you answer it, you must ask yourself this: “What are my strengths?” Do you enjoy working with computers, or cars, or animals? Maybe you’re an adept people-manager, or you like fixing things, or you’re good with finances. Paul says, “God…has made us what we are” (Ephesians 2:10 TLB). Are there certain jobs that come easily to you and you wonder why others can’t do them? If so, that says something about your particular strengths and your God-given assignment in life. God said of Bezalel the builder, “I have filled him with…wisdom…He is a master craftsman, expert in the working with gold, silver, and bronze. He is skilled in engraving…mounting gemstones…carving wood” (Exodus 31:3-5 NLT). Once you’ve identified what makes your eyes sparkle and your pulse races – go for it! “Fix your eyes on what lies before you…Don’t get sidetracked” (Proverbs 4:25-27 NLT).

“God…shaped each person in turn.” (Psalm 33:13-15 TM).
Paul writes concerning the family of God, “Each one of you is a separate and necessary part” (Colossians 12:27 TLB). But in order to determine where you fit in, it helps to know yourself. For example, what kind of working environment brings out the best in you? Do you thrive on routine? Are you motivated by other people’s needs? Do you enjoy tackling challenges that discourage others? The bible says, “God shaped each person in turn,” which means you’re not supposed to be a carbon copy. And how about your relationships? Do you enjoy being part of a team, or do you function better alone? If you only come to life around people, you’ll probably be miserable sitting in front of a computer all day. What lights your fire? In the movie Chariots of Fire, Eric Liddell described his zeal for running in these words: “God made me to be fast, and when I run I feel His pleasure.” What makes you feel like that? There a story about a man who was asked if he could play the violin. “I don’t know, I’ve never tried!” he replied. When you think about it, it’s a wise enough answer, because until you’ve tried something how do you know whether or not you’d be any good at it? For instance, a frog may be a great swimmer but it’s a lousy flier. Some of us whose heroes are “birds,” walk around feeling bad about ourselves because we can’t fly. You’re not supposed to! God’s Word says, “Be content with who you are” (1 Peter 5:6 TM). Stop flapping around out there and give yourself permission to be the person God made you to be!

Hey Imeem kin-

I go by the name of Na'rel-LeDon or most times just Na'rel...Think of it as someone with a two-name first name. ;)
I am an aspiring everything, really. Lol. No, but I am a lover of music first and foremost. That's what I do and I love.

Umm, not doin' too much outside of just sharing what I love to do through the net - specifically on here, imeem, but definitely look for me in the near future. I'm an independent artist in nature, I believe, so when the time is right (post college and everything), it'll all happen, for sure. I'm NOT waiting on no greedy, exploiting major recording label "deal" to sign my life and creativity over too and not only change my style or my sound, but degrade my name and who and what I represent...I don't need the fame and lights.

Success is doing what you love WITH dignity, integrity, happiness, enjoyment and 100% control in my book!

At any rate, I march to the beat of my own drum, so you can be certain that there won't be any "carbon-copying" coming from me...at least not intentionally.

In closing, thanks for reading this blog and checking out my page! I appreciate it, real talk. I can't promise I'm gonna be regular with my blogging, but I'll try to hit y'all up every now and then. You can always feel free to hit me up with a comment or message (no shared messages, please) and I'll get right back at you.

God Bless,

-Na'rel-
