when i first heard i was in shock! i couldnt believe it. and still cant. I listen to his music daily! i dont miss a day. since i was little i always have and his music is so routine, and everyday to me that i still am in a daze. he is so alive in my heart my soul my spirit my everyday world that when i watch all the tributes and music videos on vh1 mtv and bet he isnt dead to me. then right before the go to commercial break they show a picture of him in the background and it says the year he was born 1958 and the year he died...2009. then it hits me and i shed a few tears. he's really gone. and they start playing some more music videos. and i forget! i really do! he's so alive and so amazing i'm still in a daze. what really got me was janet on the BET awards last night. i've never seen her, or anyone for that matter look like they are in such pain. it was sooo sad to watch. and then ne-yo and jamie foxx sang i'll be there. and it really got me. i think i will always remember that moment as the time it really hit me that he's dead. i balled like a baby. michael's really gone. he's really gone. i still can't take it all in at once. i've been celebrating his life. listening to his music non stop. watching his videos everychance i get. im sixteen years old. im young. and i wasnt even around to see michael at his peak in the 80s. they say you've never seen a true star unless you saw michael jackson change the world in the 80s. ive never known a time where i didnt know who michael jackson was. it was never a question. he is my hero. the person who inspires me the most and is the reason im the person i am today. i love music because of him. i breath music, eat music, sleep music. and i will make it in the music industry. i know i can because of people like michael jackson. i wanna make change. he is such an inspiration. i wanted to meet him one day. but now i realize i dont need to. because i know him. through his music. he has touched me and millions of others. and his legacy will live on FOREVER. i love you so much michael. i hope somehow your looking down on everyone who loves you, and who is celebrating your life. and you know how much you are loved. i hope somehow you get this message. i know your an angel now. i know your helping someone and changing their lives. there will NEVER EVER be another like you micheal. i believe we have the same goal i too want to change the world through music. and shift the face of the earth. michael your my hero i love you. rest in peace
