I can sing R-E-S-P-E-C-T and demand it like Aretha Franklin
Being a black woman is a blessing
I can graduate from Princeton like Michelle Obama
I can walk just as fierce as Naomi Campbell
I can fight for my God-given rights like Rosa Parks
Being a black woman is a blessing
I can play tennis professionally like Serena or Venus Williams
Or I can right a powerful and award-winning play like “A Raisin in the Sun” like Lorraine Hansberry
But most importantly “I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings” like Maya Angelou.
You should realize and come to appreciate these accomplishments of these black women
