The Sales Planner position will assist Sales and Sales Development by providing all day-to-day support including development of proposals, research and other key sales materials. Must be self-motivated and have strong communication skills. If you are an ambitious self-starter with a love of music and film, this could be the perfect position for you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in internal discussion with Sales and Sales Development upon RFP receipt to review, brainstorm response and establish timeline for completion
- Develop proposals that incorporate relevant imeem media offerings, including standard media, rich media, video, Group Pages, marketing sponsorships, artist promotions and all relevant mockups. Proposal should incorporate specific media plan with recommended allocations to each media type (e.g. by channel and targeting)
- Collaborate with Sales Development to vet proposal strategies
- Gather research to support proposals and imeem's position in the marketplace
- After close of sale, participate in post-sale kickoff discussions with Sales, Post-Sale Producer (Sales Dev & Engineering if applicable)
- Participate in internal debriefs with Sales to review client feedback
Successful candidates should have the following qualifications/requirements:
- 1-3 years experience in an advertising sales and / or advertising marketing group for an entertainment-based web property
- Ability to manage a complex workload, and deliver high quality work under tight deadlines
- Exceptional organizational skills with a commitment to detail
- Strong analytical, presentation and communication skills
- Driven, passionate, self-starter, able to execute and deliver with minimal supervision
- Robust knowledge of online research methods and 3rd party research tools
- Strong computer skills with emphasis on Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook required
