Sponsorship Development Manager
Location: San Francisco, CA

The Sponsorship Development Specialist will work closely with the Sales Development, Business Development and Marketing teams, as well as leverage music industry contacts, to build/vet talent/event integrated programs. Assist with both pre-sale RFP responses and post-sale elements of a sold campaign that include Profile/Group Pages, contests, editorial & overall campaign promotion. Must be self-motivated, have strong communication skills, experience in integrated marketing and a rolodex of industry contacts. Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in internal discussion with Sales upon RFP receipt to review, brainstorm and establish timeline for completion - specific to artist, contest and community integration
  • Coordinate between Business Development, Marketing & Sales Development to develop pro-active opportunities, articulated in proposals, that incorporate talent promotions and imeem media offerings, including standard media, rich media, video and Profile/Group Pages
  • Gather research to support presentations and imeem's position in the marketplace
  • Leverage existing music industry relationships and work with internal teams to pair talent with advertiser brands, based on market, demographic and availability
  • Maintain and update event, talent and tour spreadsheets
  • Participate in necessary post-sale kickoff discussions with Sales, Sales Planner & Post-Sale Producer (Sales Dev & Engineering if applicable)
  • Build talent based Profile/Group Pages and activate/monitor/promote contests and promotions
  • Help project manage the execution of integrated talent/advertiser campaigns
  • Analyze integrated talent/advertiser campaigns and build wrap-up case studies

Successful candidates should have the following qualifications/requirements:

  • 2-4 years experience in talent relations, packaging integrated multi-media programs, advertising sales and / or advertising marketing group for an entertainment-based web property
  • Ability to manage a complex workload, and deliver high quality work under tight deadlines
  • Strong analytical, presentation and communication skills
  • Driven, passionate, self-starter, able to execute and deliver with minimal supervision
  • Robust knowledge of online research methods and 3rd party research tools
  • Strong computer skills with emphasis on Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook required
  • Successful candidate will be motivated to grow quickly, and to participate and contribute at the center of social and entertainment media
