Account Manager - New York
Location: New York, NY

imeem, inc. is looking for an experienced digital sales executive with 3+ years of online sales experience. This position will be based in New York.

Key Responsiblities:

  • Drive online advertising sale revenue and meet all sales quarterly and yearly goals
  • Manage, renew and grow existing client base while developing new business in the territory
  • Effectively communicate and present the value of imeem products and services to the client to ensure their understanding of our full product offering and capabilities
  • Develop a thorough understanding of assigned clients' business goals/objectives and identify ways to leverage imeem’s platform to support clients.
  • Maintain positive external relationships with agencies and clients, and effectively leverage sales development, business development and marketing resources internally
  • Ongoing research and understanding of the online advertising marketplace, assigned client’s, and their respective advertising agencies
  • Provide regular reports, gather pertinent detailed information and actively record updates in imeem’s Salesforce CRM software on status of clients

Successful candidates should have the following qualifications/requirements:

  • Customer focused sales professional with a minimum three years experience in digital media/ad sales; knowledge of ad serving/new media and agency experience is a plus
  • Self-starter with a passion for music, media and digital communities
  • Experience selling to the entertainment industry
  • Deep understanding of online advertising market and the NYC territory
  • Extraordinary written and oral communication skills
  • Flexibility to work with advertising agency buyers and planners as well as senior marketing executives at the client level
  • Ability to work in autonomously within a dynamic, demanding team-oriented environment
  • Proficient computer skills: Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
  • Online media advertising sales experience is required
