imeem, an innovative social network in San Francisco, is looking for a Marketing Manager. The ideal candidate must enjoy social networking and social media, have experience in project management and execution, and excel in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
This position will play an integral role in imeem’s marketing efforts. Among other responsibilities, the person in this position will:
- Develop and execute creative consumer marketing campaigns
- Plan and manage imeem marketing at consumer and industry events
- Create and execute project plans and timelines
- Drive development of creative marketing and PR collateral
- Execute partner promotions, working closely with imeem’s business development teams
- Track performance of marketing programs
- Assist with product marketing and product development by gathering market and partner feedback on the product experience
- Manage in-house and third-party design and creative services to produce custom media and custom-built sponsorship program elements
We’re looking for someone who has:
- A strong interest in social networking & social media sectors
- A good sense of humor and a high energy level
- The ability to tell the difference between an app and a widget
- 4-6 years of relevant marketing experience for consumer internet or digital media companies
- It’s a plus if you have marketing experience working with/in:
- Internet portals and/or social media sector
- Viral marketing
- Online partnership marketing
- Search engine marketing
- BA required, MBA preferred
- A proven ability to manage a complex workload, and deliver high-quality written and visual work under tight deadlines
- Experience in a partner-facing, communication-heavy role
- Excellent verbal and written/presentation skills
- Motivation to grow quickly
