The early years of my childhood were spent living in the shadow of my older brother, Itachi Uchiha, who had proven time and again that he was a genius in the ninja arts. Because of Itachi's successes, most of the members of the Uchiha clan looked to Itachi as the clan's future, the biggest proponent of this idea being my father, Fugaku Uchiha. Due to this focusing on Itachi, I did what I could to prove myself to my father, though no amount of training could help me in surpassing the milestones set in place by his brother. Itachi, aware of My struggle for recognition, tried to shift some of my father's attention to me, even offering to train I in various fields of ninja abilities. Although Itachi succeeded in getting Fugaku to spend more time with me, much of that time was still dedicated to Itachi, and all the while Itachi never lived up to his promises of training me Sasuke Uchiha.
As time went by, Itachi's standing in the clan began to falter as his trustworthiness was constantly called into question. At this time, Itachi also began to create a more competitive relationship with me, challenging me to surpass him. Because of Itachi's changing personality, Fugaku began to take a more active interest in my development, teaching me the Great Fireball Technique in less time than Itachi had taken to learn it, which also gave Sasuke proper membership into the clan. Most prominently, Fugaku encouraged me to not follow in my brother's footsteps, the former prodigy of the clan having lost his father's confidence.
Soon after receiving the attention from his father that he had so yearned for, I returned home late one evening to his horror to find all the members of my clan dead. After finding my brother Itachi standing over the bodies of our parents, indicating he was the one responsible for the clans' murders, Itachi informed me that he wasn't worth killing. As he left, Itachi repeated his encouragement to me to hate, to hold grudges, and to train his evil to become strong enough one day to surpass him, and disappeared into the night. From that day forth, I lived as an orphan, longing for the parents that had been taken from me and allowing my brother's words to fester. Soon after the clan's annihilation, My only goal in life became to gain power through any means necessary in order to kill Itachi and avenge my clan's death.
My desire to get stronger is the dominating factor in my interactions with others and takes precedence over all else. As such I am initially unconcerned with the concepts of socializing, be it with my teammates or the many girls in my age group vying for my affection. Likewise, I am not interested in working with Naruto nor Sakura for the good of the mission, believing in myself to be much more talented and that working with them will only make me weaker. Soon after the three set out on missions together, however, I began to discover that these perceptions are inaccurate; Sakura is a valuable source of information, and Naruto is an effective ally and incentive to get stronger. As a result of these revelations, I began to value my teammates more than I did during our first meeting. While I try to deny this, my willingness to risk my life to help them even if it could mean never getting a chance to kill Itachi slowly begins to manifest, although this is partly influenced by my belief that if he cannot fight in [this] battle, he will never be strong enough to face Itachi.(in Kakashi'svoice) remarks that while I am a genius, I am a little dull to teach because I can learn techniques easily compared to the less predictable Naruto.
During the second phase of the Chunin Exams, Orochimaru notices this change in me Sasuke Uchiha's ideals, witnessing first hand of me valuing of my teammates' safety over my own. Having need for my craving for revenge, Orochimaru brands me with the Cursed Seal of Heaven to give me a taste of the power he can have and steer me back towards the more "favorable" path of vengeance. Although Kakashi does what he can to weaken the cursed seal, discourage its usage, and gave me other means of getting stronger, I came to realize the potential the seal allows me. To test my newfound power, I began to seek out strong opponents that I can fight, believing each victory I obtain to be an indicator of my growth. As time goes by, however, I become dissatisfied with the progress i am making in getting stronger, largely a result of my quick defeat by Itachi during our brief encounter. All the while, Naruto, someone he finds to be of lesser skill, continues to surpass him in ability, creating a sense of envy within me. So i get discouraged and think about joining Orochimaru in seeking power.
I soon decide to abandon Konoha in order to seek out Orochimaru and gain power. Sakura my secretly beloved girl :D attempts to persuade me to stay, but is unable to convince me to do so, though I simply knock Sakura out by quickly going behind her back and hitting her in the head rather then fighting her. Naruto, sent to stop me from escaping the country, eventually catches up with me and pleads for me to return. I, believe Naruto to be my closest and best friend i ever had, but I decide to use the last bit of advice my brother Itachi ever gave me: in order to gain the Mangekyo Sharingan, the highest power of the Uchiha clan, one's best friend must be killed. No longer valuing my teammates over my own self-betterment, I try to kill Naruto and meets him in battle. Naruto, unwilling to let me go, fights with equal earnest, now willing to break my body to bring me home. As the battle concludes, I attack Naruto with my Chidori while Naruto uses his Rasengan. Rather than connect with the attack, Naruto scratches my headband (in reference to my claim that he couldn't scratch my forehead). As Naruto lies unconscious, I consider killing him, though upon realizing that, that is what Itachi would want, so i decide to spare Naruto to find power in my own way. I go to Orochimaru, ready to do whatever is necessary to gain the power I desire.
2 and a half years hve passed since i left Konoha. I am still craving power above all else. My lust for strength is such that, during my last reunion with Naruto and Sakura, I claim to be willing to give my body to Orochimaru if it means killing Itachi. I have at least changed to a point that I no longer care for my former teammates' well-beings, being more than willing to kill them since neither is of any use to me. My relationship with Orochimaru shows a similar lack of loyalty, as during my time together I apply no honorifics to Orochimaru's name, is somewhat rude to him, and does not express his allegiance with Otogakure by wearing a Sound headband. Of the loyalties I have, the only one I display is that of the Uchiha clan, the symbol of which I wear on my back collar. Despite this lack of allegiances to those close to me, I seem to be unable to bring myself to needlessly harm those I have never met before, and makes it a point to prevent their deaths when possible.
Naruto Sakura and Sai finally found me, though my rapid increase in strength allows me to quickly defeat Naruto, Sakura, and the newer member of team 7 sai. While I attempt to kill my former comrades, I am persuaded to spare them in case they can defeat more members of Akatsuki, an organization which my brother belongs to, and therefore make him easier to kill. Soon afterwards I turn against Orochimaru, feeling that I can learn nothing else from him and that Orochimaru is unworthy of having my body. Although Orochimaru attempts to take my body by force, I am able to turn the process against him, later reporting to have simply retained control of my body. With Orochimaru gone, I recruit Suigetsu Hozuki, Karin, and Jugo, former subordinates and experimental subjects of Orochimaru, to help me in finding and ultimately killing Itachi. Naming their group "Snake," we set out to find Itachi. After a battle with Deidara, I eventually find Itachi, and I display how much stronger I have gotten. Itachi agrees to have our final battle elsewhere. I take "Snake" with me to the meeting place, though I leave them behind with Kisame Hoshigaki .Once I reach the destination. Itachi and I Sasuke Uchiha meet again, and I prepare kill my older brother Itachi at long last.
