On January 2nd, 2008, I kicked off my new year seeing the Jonas Brothers in Sacramento, CA! On the 1st, my mom and I got there at 4:00 in the afternoon and I got a blue Jonas Brothers wristband to get into the meet & greet autograph signing the next day. ONLY 300 girls got wristbands, so I was VERY LUCKY! The day of the event, I got there at 6:30 A.M. and waited in front of the stage until it started at 3:00 P.M. When the Jonas Brothers came out, it went by so fast. They did 4 acoustic songs: Year 3000, Hello Beautiful, Goodnight and Goodbye, and S.O.S. They were all acoustic, and the whole thing was only about 12 minutes. I was about 15 feet from the stage, so I was really close! But, the SOUND WAS TERRIBLE! You could barely hear the boys sing, 'cause the microphones had such bad sound; all squeaky and screechy! The guitar sound was bad too! But, we did hear it, and all the girls sang along and had tons of fun! THE BEST PART WAS AFTER THE PERFORMANCE! The meet and greet, with only 300 girls! They did it very fast, because the boys had another concert that night at a theater nearby. So at the meet and greet autograph signing, they only signed the provided posters, and signed in silver sharpie! It's my 2nd autograph by them! So I was wearing black converse, jeans, and a REALLY shiny black short dress. In line, just feet away from them, I saw them all look over at me! So it was Kevin, Nick, then Joe. I got to Kevin and gave him his present, then he shook my hand and we smiled at each other and chatted! For Nick, I gave him his present and he said "Wow, thank you so much," and then shook my hand and smiled at me! Then for Joe, (I HAD THE LONGEST WITH JOE), I gave him his present and we chatted for a while until Big Rob wanted me out, so I asked Joe for a quick hug and we hugged! So, I only hugged Joe, but HEY: It's still a hug from a Jonas Brother! I took my autograph, then my mom and I walked back to the car. MY MOM GOT THE ENTIRE PERFORMANCE AND MEET & GREET ON VIDEOTAPE, SHE DID AN AMAZING JOB! WOOO MOM! SHE GOT EVERY SECOND! YES! So after we dropped off our stuff, we went back outside along with about 100 other girls and waited for the Jonas Brothers to come out to leave in their black SUV. They came out, everyone started screaming, then they just plopped in their truck and they drove off from about 100 fans! They had the windows open and waved and smiled to all of us! A PERFECT way to end my amazing day!
~~Oh, and I did not take any pictures with my camera because it was only a 12-minute performance, and I wanted to enjoy it. My mom took video on the video camera, and I did take pics and video from my cell phone!~~
