There have been quite a few announcements about animes being adapted into live-action movies, including ghost in the shell & akira. But what i'm truly absolutely stoked about is the news about fox doing a LIVE ACTION feature film of Cowboy Bebop.

Any Cowboy Bebop fan would be excited but there are fears that arise from this too, such as "will it live up to the series or the first animated movie?". Truthfully i am really worried about the musical score, if they don't use yoko kanno as the music composer, it could be very bad for the fans or even the casual viewers.... hell, the music is one of the many reasons that makes Cowboy Bebop so unique & wonderful... so i would really be disappointed if yoko kanno wasn't the one composing the music for this movie. Anyway, i'm really excited about this movie. It's said to be in a VERY EARLY STAGE of production, i'll try not to keep my hopes up but with something with the name Cowboy Bebop in it, it's hard to keep it in. I'm just hope it won't be so disappointing.
