I know that this isn't a Sonic Youth original, but I really like this interpretation. The synths have a piercing effect on the overall production and make it really pop.

Just for the record, this song actually wasn't originally by The Carpenters. They obviously recorded the most well known version, but the song was originally written by Bonnie and Delaney Bramlett (RIP) and recorded by Delaney & Bonnie and Friends Featuring Eric Clapton.
