It's a sterotype
Typed in stereo,
Music's my hero.
And I'm beginning
From the very beginning
From negative to zero
Hoping to spit a
Positive
Rendition of
I may be considered a chink
And what I'm saying
Is through the eyes of this chink
And you may think
"This fool can't see",
Why?
Cause my eyes so chinky
But what I see in society
Is whats blinding me.
Waged in a war
Of pro and cons
Locked behind the closed doors,
The keys,
Weapons of hunger,
A thirst of death
Born to where we belong...
And this is, I suppose
Where I belong.
See it's a slave
Engraved in shackles
And yet I don't understand
How a 5 year old is considered a man
With hands barely the size of this iPod I'm listening too
Barely able to listen to this track I'm head nodding too
Lower the volume on the click wheel
Trying to lyrically see the real
Unable to understand how this 5 year old feels
That this kid got 2 cents a day for a meal
While I'm fitted trying to keep it real
But whats real is that we're all trapped
In stereo, typed this verse in dead heroes
Shoveling this ordeal in a wrap
Fussing over which area to peel
Friend or foe?
Lover or hoe?
See, listen
In this quote unquote free world
It's the privelage of age
But when you turn the page...
You supposedly
See a nation of nationalities
A land of diversity
The diverse differences
But we're
In a race of
Who is the better race.
Disgrace.
To our ancestors who fought
To live a life of unchained chains
Chained in stereo.
The bass trying to break
Calling out (Stereo)
The tune is tuning out (Stereo)
Frequent in a circle (Stereo)
Of thinking outside the box (Stereo)
But trapped in inspiration
That only speaks
In mute words...
Though the difference that is through color,
It's the sound of this color
That tries to speak out...
What are you?

African American?
European?
Caucasian?
Asian?
Latino?
Hispanic?
Pacific Islander?
Australian?
.....
...
.....
........
....
...
Bitch, I'm human, ever think about that?

See as you read each word that is layed down in each
Rhyme
I'm trying to fight the battle of time
While some don't understand
Fighting a battle of
"That is mine!"
But we're the devils
Of diamond mines
Coal mines
Sweat shops
And thats when
Hit. Slap. Hit. Run. Crash. Boom.
Shot. Fired. In. At. Behind. In Front
Of. Me...
Surprised
I got shot for speaking out.
It's more metphorical than
How Abe and King died for what they believed in
See I'm not a famous as them
Not as proactive or reactive
And you see,
The blood is different than what they bled
I'm not lying down on a death bed
I'm lying down words colored in red
Where each page you turn
They soak in as they're being said
And I'm fed, fed up with trying my best to eat
Yet undefeated while standing on both feet
So please, please take a seat
Lay back,
Turn on any beat
And ride this, lyrics on the leak?
Hilarious.
Serious-
Ly.
I'm laughing at a blind society
Hidden behind a handicap trigger
See, I don't know why I called this
Stereo dash dash dash typed
Cause I'm typing this through
Stereo
The speakers blaring
Listening
To 5 or something songs already
And the music just riding in me...
A stereotype that I should be listening
To something with a ching chong string string beat
And shouldn't be this talented
To write something so provoking and thoughtful
Yet full of a glass half empty...
Cause it's up to us, to fill the rest of this world
We're human alike, your my brother and my sister
So should we let another of us die
Just because little brother
Speaks different
Or little sister
Has a different skin color
Even if older brother likes his guy friend
Or sister dresses different
And her mother died
From an aid-riden father?
Will grandpa be able to look at us from the clouds
Will he look, smiling proud?
Can grandma with her blue eyes, dark skin, chinky eyes, from all around
See her childrens bully her other grandchildren?
And be proud...
So do we pick on our dark brothers by making them
Pick our crops and props to
Them for fighting back
But do we now turn to our
Brown brothers
Because they're not as fortunate?
See 5 year old, he..she...don't have a name
Cause this is just a game, right?
Right?
But red I turn, shamed
At my brother and sisters
Wearing clothes made
By 5 year old's tiny hands
Yet he's considered a man
And damn
Why?
5 year old cries...
5 year old dont know why
5 year old aint 5 year old no more
5 year is grown now
5 year old turned 6.
Now sick...
6 year old that use to be five...
Now...
DIED....
