VALUES TO BUILD ON/Prayerfulness
_________________________________________________

Proverbs 15:8

Prayerfulness is the regular participation in prayer (which is simply communication with God). It includes much more than asking God for things you want. Prayer includes praising God, giving thanks for His blessings, confessing your sins, asking Him for help, and praying for other people. Prayerfulness gives you a proper perspective on life because it keeps you aware that you aren't alone as you encounter the good and bad events of each day.

Here in the middle of the wisdom of the Proverbs are some wise statements about prayerfulness. What better reason to maintain an active prayer life than because God "delights in the prayers of His people"? (15:8) And what can be more comforting than to keep in mind that "He hears the prayers of the righteous"? (15:29)

Do you pray regularly? If so, does prayer sometimes seem like a chore to you? It won't if you remember these truths from Proverbs. Try talking to God as you would to a close friend, because that's exactly what He is. For an extra challenge, try to come up with some ways you can move from occasionally to a person who continually exhibits prayerfulness.

Revelation 3:20 "Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me."

Jesus loves you. Ask Him into your heart today to be your Lord and Saviour.

He's knocking on the door of your heart, will you let Him in?

God Bless You

you know you are a blessed young woman of God and may He double your portions of strength and faith so that you can continue on this walk with Him. yes we as christians walk along this broken narrowed road but God reminds us that it is a blessed broken road and to continue on we need Him dearly. Sometimes the rocks and the cracks and the lack of blue skies or vegetation make us want to throw up our hands and give up but know that our Lord and Savior walked this same road and if He could resurrect upon it, you can do wonders. so walk by FAITH and not by SIGHT, FOR THE LORD SEES FARTHER THAN YOU. BE AND STAY BLESSED AND WHILE BLESSING OTHERS IT WILL RETURN TO YOU!
