Get Serious

Lets get serious
1 Timothy 4:12 (NLT)
12 Don’t let anyone think less of you because you are young. Be an example to all believers in what you say, in the way you live, in your love, your faith, and your purity.
Don't use your age as a crutch or an excuse to not be saved....you can be saved at any age! But it's up to you whether or not you want to be! You've got to make up your mind; either you're saved...or...unsaved? -There's no inbetween!- You're either going to be cold...or...hot?, not lukewarm! One foot in the world and one foot in the church just won't do! You've got to be sold out...better yet Souled Out to God...Totally completely dedicated to Him! Amen
Revelation 3:15,16 (NLT)
15 “I know all the things you do, that you are neither hot nor cold. I wish that you were one or the other! 16 But since you are like lukewarm water, neither hot nor cold, I will spit you out of my mouth!"
God Has the ability to keep you from falling, do you want to be kept?
Jude 1:24 (NLT)
24 Now all glory to God, who is able to keep you from falling away and will bring you with great joy into his glorious presence without a single fault. 25 All glory to him who alone is God, our Savior through Jesus Christ our Lord. All glory, majesty, power, and authority are his before all time, and in the present, and beyond all time! Amen.
Deny Yourself
Matthew 16:24-26 (NLT)
24 Then Jesus said to his disciples, “If any of you wants to be my follower, you must turn from your selfish ways, take up your cross, and follow me. 25 If you try to hang on to your life, you will lose it. But if you give up your life for my sake, you will save it. 26 And what do you benefit if you gain the whole world but lose your own soul? Is anything worth more than your soul?"
Understand this...distractions will come, temptations will come...but God has already provided a way of escape! The bottom line is you must have a made up mind! When your mind is made up nothing will stop you from serving the Lord as you should! Your thoughts should be that of; "God no matter what comes my way I will serve You, Lord in everything I do Your Name will be glorified, Lord I will keep my eyes upon you, Lord I must decrease, that you may increase, with my LIFE I worship You!"
As we die to self and deny ourselves it will be less of a struggle, enabling God's Spirit and God's word to have free course in our lives. Just let God have His way!!!!!!! It's all about Jesus anyway...always has been and always will be! Amen. Hallelujah
(Be Kingdom minded and you will prosper as your soul prospers! Seek Ye First the Kingdom of God!)
As I write this and minister to you I'm also writing/ministering to myself...we all have areas to grow in! There's always a higher goal to shoot for. So lets continue to... Press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. (Phil 3:14)
Hebrews12:1-3 1 Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a huge crowd of witnesses to the life of faith, let us strip off every weight that slows us down, especially the sin that so easily trips us up. And let us run with endurance the race God has set before us. 2 We do this by keeping our eyes on Jesus, the champion who initiates and perfects our faith. Because of the joy awaiting him, he endured the cross, disregarding its shame. Now he is seated in the place of honor beside God's throne. 3 Think of all the hostility he endured from sinful people; then you won't become weary and give up.

~Young people know that your identity has always been and will forever be in Christ-Our Lord, Our Creator. Don't get caught up in materialistic superficial things-things that will fade away for they will bring NO true fulfillment. Only the Lord can fill our voids. And until you come into the knowledge of Him, accept Him as your Lord and Savior, develop a personal relationship with Him there will forever be an emptiness in your heart-an emptiness within you! If you delight yourself in God He will give you the desires of your heart. If you draw nigh to God He will draw nigh to you! God loves you and knows what is best for you-Trust Him!~
Matthew 11:28-30 28 Then Jesus said, "Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you. Let me teach you, because I am humble and gentle at heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy to bear, and the burden I give you is light."
Heavenly Father create in us a clean heart and renew a right spirit within us. Lord sanctify our minds, sanctify us wholly from this world, from sin. Give us the mind of Christ Jesus. Cover and cleanse us in Your Blood, make us as white as snow. Deliver us from all that is evil forgive us of all our sins-Put us [back] in right standing with You. May Your Holy will be done now and forevermore. In the Mighty Name of Jesus. Amen
Psalm 139:23,24 23 Search me, O God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. 24 Point out anything in me that offends you, and lead me along the path of everlasting life.

NO COMPROMISE/Conviction

NO COMPROMISE!
VALUES TO BUILD ON/Conviction
Go to Daniel 3
CONVICTION is a strong belief in or desire to uphold a moral standard. Your personal convictions are the things you hold to be right or wrong. Consequently, they mold your thoughts and actions.
Conviction may also refer to a deep sense of regret you feel after committing a sinful action. Just as we say that a guilty person is convicted for his crime, we, too, can feel "conviction" when we get out of fellowship with God. Conviction is more than guilt. It is a feeling God places within us to lead us to repentance and put us back into a good relationship with him.
To illustrate the first definition Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego were young men of conviction. When King Nebuchadnezzar built a large image of gold and commanded that everyone bow down and worship it, these three continued to stand tall! Even though they were threatened with being thrown into a fiery furnace, they held to their conviction that God would reward any decision made to honour him. Nebuchadnezzar was astonished to learn (the hard way) that they were absolutely right (Daniel Chapter 3).
In what ways do you live according to your convictions? Do you ever compromise what you believe in order to please or impress someone else? If so, what can you do in the future to stand firm in your convictions?
MORE STORIES WITH VALUES TO BUILD ON: Genesis 3:6-12, Adam and Eve; Psalm 51, King David; Luke 5:1-11, Peter.

James 4:17[Amp]
17So any person who knows what is right to do but does not do it, to him it is sin.
Jude 1:24, 25[KJV]
24Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy, 25To the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen.

Salvation
Revelation 3:20
"Behold, I (Jesus) stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me."
Jesus loves you. Ask Him into your heart today to be your Lord and Saviour.
Colossians 1:13-14
13Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son: 14In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins.
He's knocking on the door of your heart, will you let Him in?
God Bless You!
