The Geese Flew to my Right
Today 9/20/09
I sit and ponder on the trees, to my left, as the leaves at the very top wink at me magically showing their fall colors in the glow of the rising sun.
Behind me the sound of gurgling water makes its way out of a ceramic frog, into a small pond someone creatively made.
I look toward the brilliant star that warms my soul, and there, overhead, two groups of geese majestically fly in perfect “V” formation.
I say out loud, Hello, Good bye and one lone bird replies back with only the sound that a majestic goose flying high could make.
And I smile, as my eyes mist with gratitude for the life God has given me.

ahh... i've heard this where...? ah in that game... stalingard... haha. irony of the german war. such a bittersweet melody.
