There's not much of anything on the radio now that reaches the power of this. Honestly, are there really many tunes or melodies that you hear nowadays that you think you'll be humming in 20 years, or saying, when it comes on on the radio, "Oh, yeah! I love this! Listen to that riff! How cool are these lyrics!"? It seems that the best new stuff out there now isn't getting that much radio play on the Pop charts...in this day and age, a sign that your music is good. I guess good, quality Rock has become an underground phenom again...maybe that's a good thing, cause the corporations certainly don't no much about music and art. I guess the music of the 1960s-1980s will forever attain a mythic status to those born after the heydays. Long live Rock N Roll in all its forms.
