Hi everybody, hope you had a good end of semester slash beginning of winter rush, hope everything is settling down a bit before the hollidays. Take the time to be with people you love, being 3400 km from home really puts that into perspective, but music is what gets me through the hard times when I miss all my loved ones. In fact , on top of my regular feed list which features many year end revue highlights, I'm taking the opportunity to post mixes for my family and friends as well as my douce moitié Anne whom I miss very much. I was going to do a cats mix but I had lots of trouble finding cat themed songs so I decided against it. So three mixes as well as a special the essential Matt Good mix which was meant for fall but fits also very well in winter which features my favorites from Matt Good who I've always been quite fond of. All great mixes that send different messages to different people and feature many of the artists which will be on my year end revue. Vote for the feed poll:)

Starting off with one of the biggest buzz bands of the year, these guys sound like a unique mix of Postal Service, Stars and MGMT. They have a sound that has a big beat postal service dance feel with an MGMT indieness in the voice and arrangements that makes it a great crossover band that can make u dance as well as take you away in a trance. From Cambridge Massachusets, this is Passion Pit:

http://www.myspace.com/passionpitjams
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5bfseWNmlds

These guys have a straight up indie approach similar to Portugal the man and Modest Mouse. They keep it simple with sweet melodic riffs as a base, add in some funkyness one inawhile and a cool voice that doesen't overcrowd the music and ties into a minimalist approach that these guys pull off very well. From Michigan, this is Mason Proper:

http://www.myspace.com/masonproper
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CTCTPTFhG4c
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TPHKqoMByZg&feature=related

I only really caught on to this great act recently when they opened up for the Acorn in Montreal. Led by frontwoman Casey Mecija who has an angelic, kind of Sarah Harmerish voice but a bit more shy,the band layers amazing indie riffs over her straightup indie folk compositions a nd give this band an umph that makes them one of the best Canadian discoveries of the year for me. From Toronto, this is Ohbijou:

http://www.myspace.com/ohbijou
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HXcebV04
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=omVjMkOn3PY&feature=relatedaVM

These guys are one of my favorite more recent discoveries, they got lots of well deserved hype from pitchfork with a sound that definitely pushes the envelope of jazz, indie and funk to bring something new to the table. I got a very frantic jazzy and anthemic feel at the first listen, but the soft gospel voices really balance the sound well. From Philly, this is Pattern is movement:

Wassup yall! it's been well almost 2 months since the last feed and I figure it's gonna be monthly feeds at least until I leave out west, at which time I'll have more time to write these things but for now I have a special double whammy feed! They have been up for a while now but it takes a long time between actually making the list and doing my blog thingy. N-e-ways, these feeds feature some really great band's that are inspired by this time of year. I usually kinda get depressed in the fall but I'm the kind of person who likes feeling depressed once in a while, it makes the good times even better. N-e-way hope u like it. Since there are two mixes, I will focus on 8 bands instead of the usual 4. Enjoy! By the way there are now 300 songs on the mega list and over 800 hits! Keep on representing peeps, spread the word to all your indie head friends on facebook! Peace!

These guys hail from Jonkoping sweden, they make solid indie pop with an MGMT voice. Musically it ressembles more like epic los campesionos indie but slower and more piano, xylophone orchestral and choir arrangements but with a similar I'm happy and I don't care who thinks thats lame aesthetic. From what I can gather there are like 10 000 people in this band à la Polyphonic spree. Here are I'm from Barcelona:

http://www.myspace.com/imfrombarcelona
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OwwbXHNGsjU
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OMl2z7d9jmA&feature=related

This dude is from Ann Arbor Michigan and writes beautyful indie folk with an amazing creamy voice that dosent remind me of anything I know except maybe Nick Drake. It's soft, sometimes violinny, sometimes rhodesy, all instruments that breathe perfectly with this guy's amazing voice. This is Chris Bathgate:

http://www.myspace.com/chrisbathgate

Still on the accoustic front but with a very different take are London's Noah and the Whale who have a very happy indie accoustic-pop with a charming britt accent. Their songs have been in volovo ads I think, which put them on the map but their album Peaceful, The World Lays me Down is a nice collection of dancing in the park indie:

http://www.noahandthewhale.com/
http://www.myspace.com/noahandthewhale
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BAuyxKZ7QRs

These guys I discovered a while back when mp3s took like half an hour to download per song (by the way if u like it you should really try buying the cd, attending shows and buying merch. Bands have no or very little support from their labels (even the bigger indie labels) so they need u to buy their shit to keep them going), with the track staring at the sun, their more recent Return to Cookie Mountain got rave reviews and was a massive underground hit (oxymoron? maybe...) Their more recent Dear Science is more electro and focused but

with amazing booty shaking tracks. I would describe them as elctro fuzed fuzzy basslines with an amazing soul voice that contrasts with the psychadelic indie beats slash riffs with a Grizzly Bear feel I can't really pinpoint. Brooklyn's TV on the Radio:

http://www.tvontheradio.com/
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GUB1xSAAADk
http://www.myspace.com/tvotr

This next artist has been an ipod favorite of mine for the last few months and has been the soundtrack to my fall. Nothing better on my bike on a windy snowy slash rainy day. Atmospheric dark bluesy but also happy indie gems with Casey Dienel's amazing voice as backdrop which resembles my Brightest Diamond's Shara Worden and a bit Feisty. My pick definitely thisw week Portland Oregon's White Hinderland (Oregon just breathes inspiration):

http://www.myspace.com/caseydienel
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cIB43CbEvPA

the next band took me alot of getting used to but they charmed me with their more recent Offend Maggie record which is a stroke of genius in the post rock category with Satomi Matsuzaki at the helm whose delivery is perfect over the off kilter juxtaposing riffs that bouce from agressive to groovy melodic in seconds but always keeping a smooth overall feel. From Oakland, Tokyo and San Francisco this is Deerhoof:

http://www.myspace.com/deerhoof
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1rrnTDDhVnw&feature=related

Next up is a dude from Chicago that makes some amazing electro piano driven fuzzy voice indie gems that really convey the sentiment and feel of heartbreak with imagery that becomes clearer with every listen. It is for the painfully alone but it's also that painfully alone time of year, so let's tap into that shall we, Casiotone for the Painfully Alone:

http://www.myspace.com/cftpa
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WsExAB6Kws8

As my grand finale, I present to you from Long Beach Callie Cold War Kids, a funky fresh beat band that toured with Sound Team back in the day and they have a bit of a more funky edge but with a similar indieness in the guitar riffs. This stuff is made for dancing so get your yoga mat out to do some breakdancin:

This one's for Marcus, Louis & JD, for all the good times and the great music. It's also for JP, Phil, Rich,Sterlang n Marin who influenced and will probably really enjoy this list as well. This mix freakin rocks, it consists mostly of our band influences back in the in the broken sound days (the old band I was in). Its called the missing link between emo & indie cuz I think that at least musically, this type of emo's alternative/punk blend from the turn of the millennium (late90s, early 00s) is very similar to what I would define as contemporary indie rock.

Wassup yall, hope u had a great long weekend. This month's feed features an eclectic mix of bands that I discovered mostly by the means of pitchorkmedia.com's Forkast list which features all the best up n coming and established indie acts from all genres and from all over. It's mostly experimental alternative/indie rock genre with a focus on either smooth and melodic or rockin indie pop. Hope yall like it.

Starting off this week with an amazing act from calgary which I was introduced to with the help of my sister's boyfriend Will who left these guy's CD at my house and I randomly was listening to this and it caught my ear right away. The recording has a funky retro 70's feel to it but with a great contemporary indie melodic feel. Shapes & Sizes meets Last Broadcast era Doves meets funky freshness with an vinyl sounding voice.

http://www.myspace.com/womenmusic

This band is a side project of Grizzly Bear frontman Daniel Rossen, that has been compared to the beta band and obvously has strong echoes of grizzly bear to it and if I may add a hint of fleet foxes as well. Juss a bit more focused than grizzly bear, more thump n dance but also some good ol sway and shake.

http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewprofile&friendid=69036797
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9UNp21edKUQ

These guys come from all over the US and are based in Wasilla, Alaska. They sound pretty damn funky for a band coming from a place where it's either mostly sunny or mostly dark. I guess they compose in summer cuzz this is like indie funk à la Dr.Dog or even mgmt ish but without the electro. From Wasilla, Portugal the man.

http://www.myspace.com/portugaltheman

As a dessert this week, a band that sounds like an amazing pot-pourri of everything I love, AMANSET, Horny BSS, The Mercury Program and all that music that puts you on a musical cloud, rhodes, horns, sweet indie hooks that progress à la pacific theme n such. Instrumental compositions that soar and sound amazingly full with still tons of room to breathe to let the imagination run wild. From Kent, Ohio, thisi is six parts seven:

Hope you are all having an awesome summer, I haven't written anything in awhile with all the Duckstock preparations and all, which was a great success thanks to all the awesome bands that graced the stage with their presence: Flashing Bright Lights, The Normal Humans, Maica, Magnetic Hill, Lance Rocket, Jinga and my bandmates from Good Neighbors, thanks to Anne & Fabienne for their help with the cantine which was the coolest damn thing I've ever seen, Soph..Bills...everyone who helped! Ant thank you to all who attended the 1st edition which went down as the loudest thing to ever hit the lake Marier and primed me for next year's edition which will try to repeat the success of this year and try to grow a bit..within the surface area I have to deal with. I'll post a few photos on the group soon...Thanks to everyone involved again!

The Indie community from all over converged this weekend...in Chicago for Lollapalooza..and then...In my sweet hometown of Montreal @ the 3rd annual Osheaga Music & Arts Fest which featured the likes of Broken Social Scene, The Weakerthans, The Go! Team, Metric and Hometown Indiefeed favorites Plants & Animals. Jack Johnson and the Killers were also in presence and assured that the festival will be held another year. Day 1 was kmarked by a glooming chance of rain which never materialized but I was well prepared with my poncho and it gave all the hippie girls a chance to wear their stylin billyboots. Standouts for day 1 and the festival period were Plants & Animals who brought out the sun with their montreal style this is freakin indie rock sound. Metric pounded out a rockin mostly Live-it-out set and tried to make us forget about the misty rain coming down, the gang was in full form as always. Other notables on Day 1 were Cat Power and the Wooden Sky who are my surprise of the day with their special breed of indie folk, and I must say the Killers gave a run for their money, not a dull moment and grandiose stage prod made it very enjoyable. Surprise of the festival happened on day 2 with the amazing set by MGMT that lifted the dance floor to some new inde dance electro cosmic level. Sweet sets By the Weakerthans, BSS & The go! Team made the day what a festival really ought to be and Jack Johnson closed the night in true headliner form and brought back many memories from my cottage and made me wish my girlfriend was with me. All in all an amazing time with amazing time despite cancellations and somewhat questionnable day 1 lineup, goes to show that a little indie goes a long way. Gimme 10 Bowerbirds on stages made out of busses over the killers on a mega stage anyday. That was my OSHEAGA. Peace!

Ok Now this week I'm featuring a few bands that will be playing the Osheaga music festival, but I'm starting off with a dude that was in town last week supported by none other than the freakin Bowerbirds, who gave an amazing performance that made me dance my pants off. Then followed the indie folk sensation Bon Iver! I didn't know this dude was so huge in town playing to a packed and pumped cabaret crowd that sang and sang with him swayed to the beat of his amazing strange brew of alt-indiefolk alt because it sometimes has an electro and also a dirty south feel cuz of Justin's creamy angel voice that could put any cranky baby to sleep. So here ya go from Wisconsin this is Bon Iver:

http://www.myspace.com/boniver
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=62i9Sodwp5o
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K4E9412xyJ4

Keeping on with a band that I discovered thanks to Olivier who sold me when he told me that this band was a mix of Animal Collective and The Beta Band. It's really rythmic almost tribal Acornish beats, Animal collective loopy Intense accoustic riffs over which the great vocals soar and clash beautyfully. From San Fran, The Dodos

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RuXbHQko3_Q&feature=related
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FHDJ9zwGezU&feature=related

Now these guys I've put up on the feed playlist but I think they deserve a little more attention; amazing Bloc Party meets Minus the Bear meets The Helio Sequence but like space/dance/shoegaze brittindie style.... u know what I mean? N-e way definitely worth checking out if you like the Bolc Partyesque indie they do so well in the UK. From Oxford, England, This is Foals who by the way won't be appearing at Osheaga as they seem to have cancelled their performance from their myspace page.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A3lWbPEOJp0&feature=related

These Dudes are playing Osheaga Monday @ 2:45 on the main stage, at first the reminded me of The National, with a new wavish kind of voice... and a dash of califone in some parts. It's not campfire folk, it's campfire indie with songs that often take an unexpected turn. From Oakland Callie this is Rogue Wave:

http://www.myspace.com/roguewave
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=86YGj5D6I3k&feature=related
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-xTzMjBpxGE

Thx as always for representing and reading the feed and thx for listening to various music as often as possible and supporting the scene local and world freakin wide baby...by the way Good Neighbors coming to a suburb near you...details pretty soon. Peace Out!

Word up yall, sorry it's been so long since my last post, the feed has been pretty much ready for a few weeks, just haven't gotten around to actually writing it. Hope you are all doing well, gearing up for the summer months, full of juicy activities, includung my awesome festival Dusckstock 2008 being held from july 18th-20th @ my cottage. I'm feeling kinda soft these days, been listening to old ambient and tried discovering a few new bands but it's very hard cuz there's alot of cheese in this genre so I'm feeding you a mix of a few new acts with old favorites that you are probably aware of if u like trip-hop type ambient. Not techno (though telepopmusik mingles the techno genre), but more nu-jazz, afro-beat n straight up ambient. It's not like your regular feed where u can listen to the first bit of the song and judge it right away so I recommend just playing it in the backround while doing whatever you're doing.

First off is an awesome dude from ethiopia who composes afro-beat/nu-jazz songs that really fit in well with the ambient crowd because it's not too much on the jazzy all over the place side (not that I don't like that kind of thing), almost reminiscent of more beat oriented hip hop style ambient à la DJ Shadow & Heliocentrics. This is one of the acts taht is more danceable than softer stuff that is on the list, this is Mulatu Astatke:

http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewprofile&friendID=40846246

This is a lady I discovered out west because of the massive Aussie contingency in Fernie. It's like the Zero 7 featuring Sia all the way through, accoustic riffs with a trip hop ambient style. Awesome music for riding, awesome music period. From London, Morcheeba:

http://www.myspace.com/morcheeba
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VnCS25z18pI
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w16JlLSySWQ
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FG00Y1M6cDg&feature=related

These guys hail from Washington DC, crafting some of the best ambient/triphop out there with a very dubbish feel and incorporating indian influences. Great chilled out music that also gets very dancy at times and they mix both moods very well. You might recognize a few songs from great scenes in the movie Garden State. This is Thievery corporation:

http://www.myspace.com/thieverycorporation
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=04bg9IC9N6w&feature=related
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QjRvAq6K654&feature=related

These guys are DJs from Hungary who have been signed on Nightmares on wax's label Wax on which regroups bands with a similar style as Nightmares'. This also has kind of a dubbish feel and they incorporate guest singers like many of the artists featured this week. This is Gelka:

Heyyyyeah! It's almost summer as Jason Collett would say, no more traces of the crazy winter we had, so let's fire up the BBQ and crank up the happy tunes! Summer is the time of Bob Marley, Zero 7, BSS, Nightmares on Wax... and all these happy indie bands I dug up for you! All these songs have a happy vibe (except maybe one) and juss make u wannah roll down your windows (in your house, appartment or car) and sing along and let the road ragers (if you're in your car) bite the dust and swallow their freakin bluetooths. Its sun for the soul, music you can't help but feel happy when u listen to, musictherapy in a sense for anyone who's down in the dumps or looking for the light. So here are your Happy indie quick fixes for this week:

I'll strart off with the first band I've featured that originates from Israel. This crew from Tel Aviv is fronted by Yael Kraus, whose amazing my brightest diamondish soft fits perfectly over the piano, accordeon, contrabass, xylophone driven songs, sometimes dark sometimes sunny with a definite indie inclination. Polkish meets french movie soundtrack meets café del mar passed through an indie blender. Hard to describe but very addictive... Here is Panic Ensemble:

http://www.myspace.com/panicensemble
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6lJTaVUf-iI&feature=related
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o3WmY9sDKpY&feature=related

This band is fronted by Ida Maria (name of the band) whose amazing voice presence drives this band, kind of like Against Me! but with a girl (with a Sarah Harmerish kind of voice if she was in a rock outfit). This band is in the Land of Talk (can't get enough of their latest) slash You say party! We say die! category, staright up indie rock with a rockin lady at the helm. From Norway, Ida Maria:

http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewprofile&friendid=62152007
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zd1vZv6j27s&feature=related

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=naQSB1Ozyds&feature=user
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J4TN2sgxv

Wow, I thought band was a side-project from Stills lead singer Tim Fletcher, but this guy is actually from Guyana!!! Super Twangy country meets the stills, or the weakerthans indie country meets slow bloc party meets an orchestra???? Ok my comparisons are kind of out there but these are all the bands that come to mind when I listen to this stuff. This is Lightspeed Champion:

This is one of my favorite discoveries of this week; sounds like bjork, elbow, kings of convenience and radiohead with a Diana Krallish cabaret kind of voice that tingles your inner soul (if you have one of those). It feels like Sia in the sense that she is a gifted singer surrounded by an amazing supporting cast that give her that indie flava. From Sweden, this is Anna Ternheim:

Ok this is weird...I'm writing a piece on french music in english....I feel like I'm betraying my culture but since many of you don't understand french it would be kind of ridiculous... N-e-way, you may think that I'm going out on a limb doing an all quebec francophone indie mix, but you are sooo wrong! You might think that quebec indie would be of lesser quality because of the single fact that it's such a small market, but it's the same for Canada and you are now all aware by now of the amazing bands that are coming out of our home and native land. Honestly I kinda lost faith in the last few years with stuff like Dumas but I heard Tricot machine on the radio the other day and it fueled an intense search that was quite fruitful and proved to me as always that if you dig a little you'll find alot.

I'll start things up with the discovery that incited me to do dig into the quebec indie scene in the first place. When I first heard this band I was like...wow! stars in french! Guy/girl duo with amazing voices accompanied mostly by piano with sick riffs and lyrics. Their self-titled debut is simply amazing, the best disc hailing from quebec since Ariane Moffat's Aquanaute. From Montreal, Tricot Machine:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3MUaTEkZPW4
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s9otjryrpYU&feature=related

These guys are much more rock oriented, with sweet electro-poppy hooks that make u wannah shake ya ass watch ya self... It's got a franz ferdinadish feel, but with a softer vibe, more spacy.

http://www.myspace.com/alfarococo
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FHSqemvtCcA&feature=related
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YvlW5r-VdSs&feature=related

This is one of the first artists in Quebec I would have classified as mainstream indie pushing the enveloppe with amazing dreamy electro-indie with amazing stars-ish electro finalies to her awesome hooks. She has an amazing voice and has a perfect balance of catchy and experimental in her songs so it never gets cheesy. From Montreal, Ariane Moffatt:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VBcHA7d9O94&feature=related
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I_go7ZblUPY

Last but not least, a band that got way too much hype too early which turned me off but it seems the hype is well deserved because, thee guys are the strongest straight up indie rock band (with malajube) in Quebec. They have a coldplayish feel but with more mathy hooks and a rugged voice. From Montreal, Karkwa:

It's finally spring, I even raked some grass today and picked up thawed dog shit at work so it's definitely that time of the year. The season of loving and renewal, where we come out of hibernation all pâle looking and roll down the windows of our crappy cars (ok I'll speak for myself on this one) and blast the hip hop and the punk to freak everybody out. This week is dedicated to rockin indie (kinda like last week) with the guitar riff as the main building block for the song. These bands can be categorized as half pop and half experimental, there's nothing bubble gum here but obviously some of these bands lean more towards one of these poles than the other. Keep posted for the music festival i'm hosting from july 18th-20th at my cottage, I will be taking reservations as soon as I get confirmation from...The Acorn (which will probably set about how much i'm gonna charge all of you) probably around 5-10 bucks for 2days of music (18th Jingafly and 19th a shitload of bands) more later.

This week i'm featuring Sufjan Steven's breakout backup musician Shara Worden. This amazing woman has one of the most amazing voices I've ever heard and she was raised by an accordeon champion father and an organ playin mama. What kind of bastard music child does this give you may ask? Well it's for me to keep secret and you to find out. This is Brooklyn's own My brightest Diamond:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MwA96dZm6Mw&feature=related

This band is the brainchild of frenchman music mastermind Anthony Gonzalez who crafts amazing shoegaze gems that define the genre for me. Strong synth riffs, dreamy textures and a spacy voice that take you back to the 80's in terms of the instruments and the feel, but with a different melodic approach. From Antibes France, this is M83:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=olG0NFjmzgw&feature=related
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tR9VzRd0l-s&feature=related

This is a band quite similar to previously featured artist Dr.Dog, funky dancy indie heavy on the electro but with a clear indie rock emphasis. Their amazing mixed of shoegazy-dancy indie with a deat cabbie voice makes u wannah dance but is a great spring pick me up in the car: from Austin, this is Loxsly:

For Dessert, this is a band most of you are probably aware of but just in case; this is an amazing act whose first release in the states flopped so they came back home to Toronto to restart and they have hit it big in recent years. With a perfect blend of cathy synth riffs by Emily Haines and sweet rockin riffs by Jimmy Shaw, Metric have always had the knack for creating great pop-electro-rock-indie that can appeal to the college crowds.

Hello everybody! Hope youre all doing well, the smell of shit is in the air on this hot spring day, that means the snow is melting :( but it's all good, it's BBQ and Playoffs time!!!! To celebrate the habs making the playoffs and maybe finishing 1st overall in the East, this is a indie canadiens mix, which has nothing to do with hockey, and everything to do with amazing canadian indie acts. By the way, i'm putting up a link this week to the indiefeed mix on imeem which is an ongoing mix that includes all the old feeds and will be updated weekly. Enjoy!

As an apetizer this week, we have a band that blew me away this weekend in beautiful Wakefield Quebec (near Ottawa) opening at the Black sheep (on the water) for the Acorn. These guys make similar stuff to the mercury program featured last week and torngat but with a more jazzy experimental side. From Gatineau (Hull) this is J'envoie:

http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewprofile&friendid=43422322

This is an amazing new(ish) band from Montreal called Land of talk led by Elizabeth Powell, frontwoman for this alt-indie trio that will be touring all over the world in support of their recently released amazing Ep Applause, Cheer, Boo, Hiss. Staraight up power-rock indie.

http://www.myspace.com/landoftalkmtl
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=StEIcx9YY2g (awesome video)

In the same kind of vein as land of talk, frontwoman Becky Ninkovic has one of the strongest stage presences i've witnessed in the last few years. You Say Party! We say Die! hails from the canadian left coast and craft rockin politically fueled indie gems with solid synths and a posessed Becky in backdrop (by the way they are huge in Europe...at least someone is recognizing this amazing band) they call themselves the new wave of new wave, you decide:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qF1zDgrMa08

For dessert, this dude is one of the main composers in Broken social scene, plays guitars and also does vocals for BSS and he brings the spanish flava to the gang. Andrew Whitman fronts Apostle of Hustle, which (in my opinion) is the strongest of all the side projects from the crazy BSS collective. Fusionning his spanish, electro and rock influences, Whitman creates (with his band) amazing very textured riffs that go straight to the hips and make u wannah shake em; spanish-indie-alt-electro that comes from the heart:
