Laura Pausini’s highly anticipated new album: a full new CD of original songs, four years after “Resta in ascolto”. The title title: “Primavera in anticipada’’ (An Early Spring)’
"Primavera Anticipada" comes with the announcement that Laura has secured a 2008 Latin Grammy Nomination in the “Record of the Year” category for “Vivere/Vive Ya”, a song performed with Andrea Bocelli. Yet another international acknowledgement, on the side of worldwide album sales of over 35 million, that follows up on the Latin Grammy won last year with “Io canto”, voted “Best Female Pop Vocal Album”: sales of the CD topped two million copies, making it the best-selling record in Italy in 2006. Laura Pausini had already won the award in 2005, with “Resta in ascolto”, the album that went on to win a Grammy in 2006 as “Best Latin Pop Album”.
The new CD, “Primavera in anticipada”, on which Laura worked for almost a year in Italy, London and Los Angeles, follows “Laura Pausini - San Siro 2007”, the CD/DVD released on 30 November 2007 which documents the concert-event of 2 June 2007: Laura was the first female artist to perform in the famous San Siro stadium in Milan, before an audience of 70 thousand fans.
