imeem Copyright Policy
To file a copyright infringement notification with us, you will need to send a written communication that includes substantially the following (please consult your legal counsel or see Section 512(c)(3) of the Copyright Act to confirm these requirements):
- Identify the copyrighted work or other intellectual property that you claim has been infringed;
- Identify the material on the imeem service that you claim is infringing, with enough detail so that we may locate it on the service (providing URLs to the material is the best way to help us identify the content quickly)
- A statement by you that you have a good faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law;
- A statement by you declaring under penalty of perjury that (a) the above information in your Notice is accurate, and (b) that you are the owner of the copyright interest involved or that you are authorized to act on behalf of that owner;
- Your address, telephone number, and email address; and
- Your physical or electronic signature
Upon receiving proper notice, we will take prompt action. For more information, please see section 1D of imeem's Terms of Use.
Such written notice should be sent (fax and email are acceptable) to our designated agent as follows:

Email: violations@imeem.com
Please also note that under Section 512(f) any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material or activity is infringing may be subject to liability.
If you expect to have an ongoing need to remove potentially infringing music content from imeem, we suggest that you simply register your music with our content filtering partner at the SNOCAP artist sign up page, which will allow our system to automatically filter uploaded files for potentially infringing content.
