LETAL SOLARIS is a chilean DARK METAL (BLACK-DOOM METAL) band from Santiago and Valparaiso.
LS was formed in 2001 by Fabian Saez on bass and Richard Alvarez on guitars.
Then, Andrea Ruiz (keyboards), Jorge Garcia (male vocals) (not the one on LOST), Oskar Hernandez (replacing Fabian Saez on bass) joined the band..
But it wasn't untill the arrive of Nathan Joy (drums) and Valentina Aguirre (female vocals) that LS achieved their first goal: the recording of their demo-single "Black Tears" on 2002.
Then came a lot of member changes, untill, on 2004 with Juan Diego Leighton on drums, LETAL SOLARIS played live as support band with Cradle of Filth in Santiago de Chile, managed by Picoroco Records, and then in 2005 recorded their first LP called "Of Sights And Nightmares".
LETAL SOLARIS' "Of Sights And Nightmares" has being called as:
"DOOM BLACK METAL AT ITS VERY BEST!!!! there's no other possible explanation to this debut CD by LETAL SOLARIS.
