Letters Make Words is unique by today’s standards of alternative/pop/rock music. Fronted by sisters Naomi and Nadia Zep, Letters Make Words is known for their sophisticated lyrics and hooky songwriting, including dueling and harmonizing vocals that will catch you by surprise. The band also features Justin Stunich on lead guitar and Corey Supp on drums, which makes for a combination that is fun, engaging, and easy to listen to.
Letters Make Words released their first disc, The Analog EP in 2007 on 7th World Studios / WiN Records, produced by Paul W. Draper, of ‘Sleepers’ fame. They are currently recording their sophomore release, “Where Did You Come From?” with Scott Llamas (PopSmear Records) at PopSmear Studios in San Rafael, CA.
Listeners appreciate songs like “Don’t Close Your Eyes” and “Dating Material” from their debut ep, as well as their new single “Photographs” which you can hear on local bay area stations like Live 105 (FM 105.3).
In 2009 Letters Make Words were chosen out of 2,000+ bands, through Sonicbids.com , earning them a spot on the Vans Warped Tour’s Kevin Says Stage in San Francisco. They were also selected as one of Radio Souncdcheck's Top 10 Bands You Need To Know.
