blog post Final Plea
Category: My Poetry

"Will you hear me?"
My words go unheard in the roaring wind.
I look into the sky as I try to speak again.
"Will you help me?"

She has the power to heal me, of this I am sure.
She has the power to save me, how much must I endure?
She has the power to free me from this agonizing game.
To free me from the pain that still remains the same.

The sky opened up and I saw her face.
"What would you have me do?"
I was overwhelmed by her unnatural grace.
"How can I help you?"

My mind swirled at the possibilities.
To be free from my constant misery.
To know what it means to know true joy.
To cease being their cruel toy.

"Oh, Angel in the sky, free me from my plight."
"Give me wings so that I may take flight."
"To flee from this place of constant agony."
"So that I may learn what it means to truly be."

And her face glowed and smiled unto me.
And I knew that it would finally, truly be.
I would know what it means to finally be free.
To have someone answer my dying plea.

"I shall grant your wish, I shall gives you wings to fly."
"And with these wings you can enter the sky."
"Escape your prison and soar up high."
"You shall have the gift of my ever watchful eye."

And now my dream has finally come true.
I can finally fly where the Moon can't pursue.
And the Sun's cruel games I have finally escaped.
My destiny I have now truly reshaped.

This goes along with Twilight Plea. I think it turned out pretty well.

One day, not so long ago, I made a silent plea
I looked into the clouds that day and asked it silently
To please release me from this prison of eternity

Oh hear me O’ benevolent Sun, for the Moon has imprisoned me
Pull me from its cold grasp and set my soul free

Oh Sun, with your soothing glow, hear my distant plea
Free me from this wretched place so I can sleep peacefully

The Sun, it rose that day and then it spoke to me
“Aye my child, you were right to come to me.”
“I shall release you from your prison; I shall free you from eternity.”

I told it of my dying soul that ached so painfully
I told it of my aching heart that hurt so constantly
And I couldn’t help but think – I can finally be free

The Sun, it returned that day and then it spoke to me
“You were a fool to believe that you could ever trust in me.”
“You shall live eternity in constant agony.”

So I suffer under the cruel Sun’s glee
And the night, of course, still has power over me
Trapped in my prison for all eternity

Another poem of mine.

One day, long ago, I made a silent plea
I looked into the stars that night and asked it silently
To please allow my eyes to rest in sweet eternity

The Moon, it came finally, and then it spoke to me
“Nay my child, I will not, for you have yet to see.”
“I will not grant you this one wish; I will not set you free.”

I told it of my wary eyes that ached so constantly
I told it of my dying heart that hurt so painfully
And I couldn’t help but think – it didn’t have to be

The Moon, it returned that night, and then it spoke to me
“You’re a fool if you think I would ever set you free.”
“Can’t you see? Be gone, before you anger me.”

So now I sit alone, beneath my lonely tree
And the night, of course, still has power over me
If only I could dream of that which will never ever be

I like poetry so... I'm going to post some of my stuff.

Dreaming twilight symphony
My labored breathing singing silently
"Darkness consumed", I would whisper quietly
My light releases and spreads across the sky

Dreaming twilight symphony
My screaming singing so silently
"Life embedded," I would whisper quietly
The light fading, flickering from the sky

Dreaming twilight symphony
The sweet song of silence sings to me
"Life extinguished", I would whisper quietly
The light extinguished, gone from mortal eyes
