For those of you who are tired of the everyday sludge polluting our airwaves, and by airwaves I mean Top 40 radio, help has arrived! You may remember an earlier post in which I introduced an MC named FurSun. Well, his highly anticipated mixtape "X-Men: The Last Stand" has dropped as of yesterday and I must say, it was worth the wait! The rapper, who doesn't call himself a rapper, bombards you with a unique flow, delivery, and style paired with lyrics that will make you say "DAYUMMMMMMMMM!" (in the Chris Tucker voice)
FurSun is not human, he is an alien. I just haven't figured out what planet he is from yet. But he does consider himself 'Jersey's only' if that helps. The 22 track epic features just about everyone from BBS radio including myself (Makell Bird) on the track "2 of Amerikaz Most Wanted Freestyle", which was featured on numerous platforms. I've got a special blend of hot upcoming artists and decided to show some love to the DSGB Pastor Troy this time around since alot of ya'll have been sleepin' on his recent independent releases. The boi has been dropping alot of albums full of solid material independently for the past couple of years. I also had to show some love to Zion I 'cause he seems to be one of the only rappers bringing that mid 90's type feelgood Hip-Hop.
