Beth if Modest Mouse made a bunch of Lonesome Crowded West albums I would get so sick of hearing them, its the fact that these guys never quit on being different that gives them my and all of the alternative music community's respect. So in short, the fact that their using strings and horns more so now then when they first started is a sign of their maturity hopefully you can get some too.

More Modest Mouse is always welcome. Just don't listen to the little teenies in their goth outfits who want you to keep pumping out the same album again and again, and keep doing different stuff!

Their last CD was okay- it wasn't as good as the others but I still loved it just the same! Beth- whoever you are, you obviously didn't give the CD a few ruin threws. You sounded like an idiot, as well, in your comment and I'm sure everyone would prefer if you would get a life and not sign up to be a fan if you are here just to trash talk. If you have nothing else better to do with your time- then it is I that feels sorry for you. Please rest in peace.

the tenikes, modest mouse is my favoriate band, and as much as i love them and the new song, after listening to dashboard a bunch..its obvious epic records is interfering with the production of the music. i can already see a corny ass music video for dashboard..god they better not. but aside from that, MODEST MOUSE IS THE FUCKIN SHIT! yes, beth, when you can contribute something to the world of music other than your jerk-off comments, then maybe you can give out advice. till then just listen and be happy for how well the band is doing.

hey beth i don't want to start an arguement on the page of a band as fine as modest mouse, but just because the band is playing what they want to play, and they don't fit into your catagorie of music, doesn't mean they are pathetic. You're probably just mad that they got popular (as they well deserve) so just lay off.

You are my favorite band, I don't mind the fact that my hearing is permanently damaged from listening to your music too loud. I am pretty much living for your new album, very excited.
