blog post Taiwan Trip
Posted in General on Nov 24, 2007 at 2:36 PM
Banzai! Back to Singapore, after the Combined UG Taiwan Trip. Touchdown on Singapore @ 7.15pm. Then, the plane went for a taxi to look for a parking lot.

Weather: Windy/Fine (17-23 Degree Celsius)

Pretty Cooling, like Air-Con Condition.

Day 1:
We went to board the plane @ around 11am+, reach Taiwan's Taoyuan International Airport @ around 4.30pm. The Custom there is very slow. They check our identification throughtly. (Mind you, Singapore has the Lowest Crime Rate in the World)

Then, we went to have dinner at a Restaurant in Taipei, food there: SUCKS!
At 7.20pm, we board the Trains to Hualien.

Day 2:
12.00am reporting. We checked into Marshal Hotel, have a Shower and Zzzzz till Morning wake up call.
The wake up call for day 2 is slightly later, around 8am. I woke up @ 7.30am, and went down at around 7.45am.

Had my breakfast, and went back to my room to Relax.
Day 2 was fun, as we are going to Flagory Ocean Park. There we can see the Pacific Ocean!

Lots of Activities - Price: NT970 (S$48)
Freaking Ex, but then it's FUN!!!!

We have lots of Ride, the Pirate Ship - I mabook liao, after 1 ride.
Rollar Coaster, take a few rides, to have a breeze! KOOLING!

Finally, here comes the amazing ride, the Log Ride - There it is call Pirate Ship Ride.
I did take the ferris wheel, which is damn pathetic! We are above Ground level, and with the Cold Chill blowing at us, we feel 2 times the Coldness.

I was Freezing there, more importantly, the ferris wheel is damn slow!
We left at around 4.30pm to watch the Ami Tribes' Performance.

Their Performance were interesting, lol....
Lastly, Dinner, and that concluded day 2

Day 3:

Day 3 was more of a Nature Route. I woke up at around 5.45am, and went to have my breakfast after that.
Check out of Marshal Hotel at around 7am. We went to Taroko National Park / Taroko Gorge.

The Mountains and waterfall were beautiful. Then we went to a Jade & Marble Factory, have some shopping and then lunch.

After lunch, at 1.15pm, we must make our way to the Train Station, to get our way back to Taipei. The train we will be taking, is the Newest/Fastest train, from Hualien to Taipei (No. Taroko) The Train is an Express Train that goes through the Mountains Tunnel. When turning, it can go up to 30 to 45 degrees. It is a 2 hours ride.

SCARY!!

When we reach Taipei, we went to checked into our Hotel @ Kilin Hotel, and after that, we went to Xi Men Ding, a famous Shopping Area, for Teenagers.

We went back to our hotel @ 11pm, had a shower and it's bed time.

Day 4:
Day 4 was more of a Free and Easy. Firstly, we went to take their MRT for the first time. Their people there are well-organized than we are. They queued up for MRT, and bus ride. We must really compliment them for that kind of Attitude.

We went to Taipei's City Hall, to look at the Tallest Tower, the Taipei 101! Marvelous~
After that, we went to have some shopping, and then we went back to Xi Men Ding, to do some shopping.

After Xi Men Ding, we went to Jiantan, by MRT, to the Shilin Night Market. This time round, it's shopping paradise, lots of tourist, and stalls.

After that, we went back to our hotel.

Day 5:
Last day, we check out at 10am, went to the Airport, and prepare our flight back to Singapore. There were Typhoons in Vietnam and Phillipines, so our Flight is somehow affected, alittle.

Then, home sweet home.

~Pictures to be Updated later~

NPCC Adventure Training Camp 2007, Secondary 3 - Bravo, had it's first Dinner Gathering on Monday. We met at Yishun MRT Station @ 6pm, and went to KFC (Outside), to wait for other members to arrived.

While waiting, we chat alittle, to know more about one another. When the members are here, we went to Popular Bookstore, to have a look. Lol, when we were inside, the members were following me, while i was looking for "ODEX Products", and some games.

Anyway, after that, Ben Sir arrives, and we went to GV Complex - Long John Silver to have our Dinner. Ben-Chan, show us some of his pictures (Laptop). We were amaze by the amount of Pictures he has, and he does say good Stories, that amaze us all. Maybe he can be a Storyteller, lol than a student.

After eating, We went to the Arcade, to... I don't know what we were doing inside, but then we exit after that.
~All of us went home safely, and that's the end of the Gathering.

Next Day, Tuesday
I went to GV Complex, to watch Stardust Movie. The Price of the Ticket is $6, student promotion ^^ Nice Discount eh.

Anyway, I went in, and bought a coke combo for $8.50, cost a bomb! And the movie started....
The Movie was rather interesting, and i would give a rating of 4.8/5

The other 0.2 is the lack of Originality. Fantasy Movies are always Witches, and magical stuff, why can't they have some originality.

After that, i went home straight. THE END!

~~Updates!~~
Bravo Second Gathering!

Location: Yishun MRT Station
Time: 1.30pm.
Things to bring: Yourself + $$$

Objective: Whatever!

Here's some updates on the Extended Programme..... Basically... It sucks. We can't leave school now - during our breaks. Because of that, we had to starve to death, because the canteen is close. Why does Mr James has to care so much?

Anyway, today I had a cold. I feel kinda headache.

Here's the Link for the TEST: http://www.quizbox.com/personality/test82.aspx

Your view on yourself:

You are down-to-earth and
people like you because you are so straightforward. You are an efficient problem
solver because you will listen to both sides of an argument before making a
decision that usually appeals to both parties.

The type of girlfriend/boyfriend you are looking for:

You are a true romantic. When you are in love, you will do anything
and everything to keep your love true.

Your readiness to commit to a relationship:

You are
ready to commit as soon as you meet the right person. And you believe you will
pretty much know as soon as you might that person.

The seriousness of your love:

You are very serious
about relationships and aren't interested in wasting time with people you don't
really like. If you meet the right person, you will fall deeply and beautifully
in love.

Your views on education

Education is very important
in life. You want to study hard and learn as much as you can.

The right job for you:

You have many goals and want
to achieve as much as you can. The jobs you enjoy are those that let you burn
off your considerable excess energy.

How do you view success:

You are confident that you
will be successful in your chosen career and nothing will stop you from
trying.

What are you most afraid of:

You are afraid of
things that you cannot control. Sometimes you show your anger to cover up how
you feel.

Who is your true self:

You are mature, reasonable,
honest and give good advice. People ask for your comments on all sorts of
different issues. Sometimes you might find yourself in a dilemma when trapped
with a problem, which your heart rather than your head needs to solve.

Weez! I have been watching J-Dorama (Japanese Drama) these few days... Hana Yori Dango, made a Great Impact, on me.. I just realize something, after watching that Drama. There are both Rich (Nobles) and Poor (Commoner), but the Rich, will just get richer, and the poor will just get poorer. Anyway, the Rich will enjoy life for the rest of their life, while the poor will have to suffer. This is something meaningful, which we humans should prevent, to make this Society Equal!

Okay, that's all for Hana Yori Dango (Season 1 & 2) ~The F4 are Kakoi!~

Next is Iryu, an interesting Medical Drama~ Featuring a Surgeon, who created a Team of Elites Doctors/Surgeons/etc, to do a Tough Surgery, the Batista Heart Surgery. This surgery hasn't been successfully done, in Japan. Its up to the Main Character to Prove it out! But beware, there are baddies in the shadow~

There are other more J Dorama which i had watched

Great Teacher Onizuka (12ep + SP + Movie)
Gosuken (Season 1 & 2)
Iryu
Hana Yori Dango (Season 1 & 2)
Nurse Aoi
H2~Kimi to Itahibi
Touch Movie
Doctor Koto Clinic
First Kiss

Gonna Watch~
Iryu Season 2

Woo, just a small little secret to share with you guys ;)

After watching some Japanese Drama, I turn to find out that Japanese Women are rather Kawaii. Lol, how should i put it?
Perhaps I'll marry one home, lol :P

But then the main point is... Japanese sure is clever, they have the brains to create Robots, and their Art and Culture are indeed unique. Especially the Anime & Manga. Those are the original products from Japan!

I have this urge to go live in Japan right now.... but after all, it is an impossible dream.
To live in Japan is the hardest thing you can ever think of. Their cost of living is high, and.... Perhaps is not bad after all, living in my small tiny island.

As I have friends here who can support me!

blog post Meditation

Current Mood: happy
Well, the Yunnan trip was not in for my mood, meaning i can't go for the trip anymore, since NPCC ATC Camp is on the 9th of November to 12th of November. It's Crashes with the Yunan Trip xD

Anyway, I tell Mdm Yang that I won't be going. Hmm, oh yeah! Yesterday there's an incident xD

1. Janice's Pen Drop
2. I was concentrating on that pen when i had dropped onto the floor
3. Miss Koh accidentally stepped onto it xD
4. Oh!!! Lost my Meditation Concentration!
People thought that my soul was being step onto xD But actually, I was just fooling around :P

EDIT: Just to update on some meditation stuff. One day, Mr Sham talk to us about Meditation, he said that Meditation can cure diseases, including Cancer. Well, personally if that's true, then all Cancer Patient would had tried Meditating already, and they will be cured. But the real problem is that, it's not easy to meditate.

To meditate, your mind must be blank. You can only listen/count your own breath. I did tried meditating once, when i was about to sleep. I tried concentrating my mind at one point, then suddenly, my mind disappear, kinda like being suck away.
Thus, i suddenly give up meditating. It's a weird feeling, like you are being suck into some other Dimension or something.

That's all folks,
Cya!

Today, I missed the 7.10pm bus, thus i have to wait 10mins for the next bus to arrive. When I board the bus, it was about 7.20pm, and unfortunately, there seems to be some kind of da traffic jam... which took some time before i reach school. When I'm at the school gate, it was 7.32pm, and to my surprise, the gate was not lock, in fact, i manage to reach school safe and sound - Not getting late :) IT'S A MIRACLE! That shows that miracle do happens

It's sure is great, and during PE - We did almost nothing. (I was sleeping Z-))
During the afternoon, I went to Northpoint (I don't even know why i went there). But anyway, went i was on my way there, I kinda become a messenger for Noel xD

1st: Pamela Called - I agreed to pass down a message for her to Noel, and give her Noel's Tel. Phone no.
2nd: I called Noel, and tell him to go back to school. He agreed
3rd: I forgotten Pamela's Tel. no. Thus, I have to call Rayson to get her Tel. no.
4th: I call Pamela, and update her with the information.....

Lol, a long process, just to transfer once's message. Lol, at the bus stop, i saw Noel rushing to school xD He didn't saw me, but i did saw him :P

Anyway I did enjoy @ Northpoint.
Oh yeah, I bought a new mouse too - Computer ones, not the animal type xD

That's makes up the day,
Cya and Enjoy!
