ESCALATING POPULATION

And he said unto me, Thou must prophesy again before many peoples, and nations, and tongues, and kings.
(REVELATION 10 : 11)

By the most conservative calculations, in the year 2050 there will be ten billion pople on the earth. With each tick of the end time clock, millions of new souls are born into the world.

More people than have ever lived in the entire history of the world are alive today. We are seeing end time prophesy come alive in the form of "many peoples and nations" living on the earth.

God has a plan for those "many peoples and nations." When the newscasts tell us of the exploding masses of people in the earth, remember that John saw them first in heaven: "And, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands; and cried with a loud voice, saying, "Salvation to our God which sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb" (Revelation 7:9-10).

Some day every knee shall bow and every tongue confess that Jesus is Lord (Philippians 2:10). Is there someone today that you know who needs Jesus? What will you do to bring them before the throne of Jesus in repentance and faith?

FATHER, MAKE ME SENSITIVE TO EVERYONE AROUND ME AND THE CONDITION OF THEIR SOULS. HELP ME TO WITNESS TO THE UNSAVED I KNOW ABOUT JESUS. AMEN.

FOR WHAT SHOULD WE THANK GOD?
1. His provisions – Gen.22:8; Gen.1:26-29.
2. His mercy – He was merciful to David, Zacheaus and the woman caught in adultery – Ps.103:8-14, 130:7-8; Micah 7:18-20.
3. His miracles and deliverance – Exo.14; 2 Kings 5:1-14.
4. His restoration of life and hope – Eze.37:1-7.
5. His almightiness – Gen.17:1.
6. His holiness and faithfulness – 1 Sam.2:2; Num.23:23; Heb.6:18.
7. His perfect love – 1 John 4:8.
The list of what to thank God for is inexhaustible. We must thank God for His mercy, miracles, deliverances, restoration, faithfulness, and love and because He is the Almighty. Ps.103:8-14; Ps.130:7-8; Mic.7:18-20, 2 Kgs.5:1-14; Ezek.37:1-7; 1 Sam.2:2; Heb.6:18; 1 Jn.4:8
SOME BENEFITS OF THANKSGIVING
If you will cultivate the habit of showing gratitude to God, you will compel Heaven to pay you a second visit or touch you and make you completely whole and seal your miracle with the assurance of salvation – Luke 17:11-19.
Thanksgiving has a lot of benefits. It opens your door to greater miracles. It is like receiving an open cheque. It brings to remembrance before God. It can reverse the irreversible. 1 Sam.17:32-37, 49-57; 2 Chr.1:1-12; Acts 10:1-4; John 11:41-44.
WHEN SHOULD WE OFFER THANKSGIVING?
1. When it is well with us – Ps.8:4-9.
2. When we are sick – 1 Thess.5:8.
3. When disappointed and we feel abandoned or rejected by God – Job 19:25.
4. When we are going through trials – Dan.3:17-18.
5. When being persecuted – Dan.6:10.
6. When experiencing delay – Lk.1:4-10.
DANGERS OF INGRATITUDE
1. Risk of losing the existing blessing, including salvation and Heaven.
2. Curse. Anyone who is ungrateful to God is wicked and under a curse – Pro.3:33.
3. Limiting ones blessings or answered prayers. Ingratitude is blocking the greater blessings of many believers today.
4. Emptiness and sorrow. It makes restoration practically difficult.
5. Ingratitude makes you the worst enemy of God. ,,m./
