News from Shane O'Brien regarding a Jungle Music Production:

Since 1999 till the Present in 2008 Shane O'Brien and O'Briens Edge have recorded 24 Cd's. This catalog includes mostly full length 11 to 15 tracks studio and live recordings, with the exception of three CD's. These are two 3 track promotional discs for press kits etc. and a 2 track CD that is for a charitable cause.

The 1st of 24 Cd

Everything the from first 3 disc trilogy compilation made up from raw acoustic tracks to the most current release The Genuine One will eventually be made available. The whole experience was magic and should be shared. If for no other reason than to inspire others to have that same kind of fun. Perhaps even enjoy the gift of sharing a universal language with others. Perhaps be able to feel the possibilities that arise with the musicians you meet and enjoy the feedback that comes with the music listening folks. The Music aficionado’s are the ones who love to listen to music
from beyond what any radio station can or will offer up.
I will try to continue to offer a few tidbits of the events that happened along the way as each CD in put out there. Some of the coolest entertaining times and situations came out of these sessions and I will be sure to share these events too! This will be via the Discs, Video and Photos.
Until then, go out and support live music. Go see a live band and enjoy yourselves...

Regards from myself, Shane "SSS" O'Brien and the O'Briens Edge Family

blog post Can Acoustic Music Sound Big

These comments are on intended to be regarding Shane O'Brien and The scores of music in discography he has created since 1999 to 2008.

The sentiment of unplugged song versions seem to be more lyrically meaningful in respect to delivery.

Most unplugged versions of many hot bands leave a little weakness to a normally powerfully charged studio track. Although when a group/artist puts out music acoustically first, and follow up with an amplified version down the road, the rewards can be much greater.

If both acoustic and Amplified versions of tracks are going to be made public for the world to hear and do the thumbs up or down thing, then the amplified versions to me, are more appreciated afterwards. The punch is instantly and easily noticed as the lyrics are already known.
