Treyquel "Trey" Jamison is an American Rapper born in Portsmouth, Va. he attended I.C. Norcom and is making music while managing his record label based out of Portsmouth, Va. Treyquel has released 4 mixtapes to date; his record label has since grown to a roster of two. Trey also calls is self a “Hustla” he has been known to traffic bootleg CD’s in his early life and even says in one song “While they were out doing fundraisers trying to get the school fed/I was out the hood getting cash off of bootlegs.”
Trey feels like he does a “little to much” and works himself “over time in the booth.” At school he’d be asked to rap some doubted him repeatedly but it didn’t stop him “they’d actually put their head down or close their ears when I was rapping” Trey said in a recent interview. “But I still didn’t let it stop me I just keep doing it that’s when I thought to start singing other peoples song to boost my popularity then I’ll just hittem’ and they won’t know what happened and then I’ll be they favorite rapper”. Trey has also stated that to everybody claiming to him he was going to be nothing (mostly teachers) when he gets his deal he will walk in to the school building ask for a visitors pass and throw a stack in every teacher’s face that put him down.
Trey is currently in the final step of his new mixtape release on August 14 all the treatment and "all the recording is done it was acutally recorded in a period of 3 weeks, the mixtape was done before the month of July ended, then the 31st of July we lost all the files but the next day I went back in the booth and rerecorded all the songs that we didnt get back" he rants at an awaiting fan the mixtape which will be his 2nd project off of his new label Squad Money Ent. will be composed of his unwritten freestyle rhymes to prove his genious as a businessman and his lyrical ability as a rapper.
