I just recently read this news on yahoo where JK Rowling was interviewed. She was asked by a fan if Professor Dumbledore finds true love and her reply was simply...Dumbledore is gay.

i was totally suprised when I heard that Dumbledore was gay! I couldn't believe it!

I was also surprised to hear this news, but I was really quite pleased that Rowling decided to make one of the greatest wizards of all-time gay.

Also, it makes sense if you think about it. I mean, he's grown up alone all this time.

Dumbledore does kinda act gay but I wish that was just not gayness. Bieng gay is like gay.

I was a little surprised, and weirded out that she would just declare that to the world, but one of my friends predicted it after reading book 7 and she was right. It sort of makes sense too, in a way- he was fighting his lover.

in my personal opinion...i don't want to offend any body okay...just my opinion...i think JK just got tired of thinking of a possible answer to the fan's questions...hehehehe... i mean, being alone at his age and being best of friends with a grindelwald or any guy for that matter doesn't make any body or Dumbledore himself, gay...right? its not enough evidence...hehehe...but of course, JK was the one writing the stories...she practically owns all the characters in the story, so, she has all the right to say anything about Dumbledore and everyone else... i was sad though...not because, he's gaaay...i dont kave anything against gays...but i thought, JK will write a book about Dumbledore where we can read about his life and why he's this and that...so.... i was dissappointed...

Albus Percival Wulfric Brian Dumbledore is gay...yes. But that doesn't change the fact that he is the only one Voldemort ever feared.....

It's kin'na funny though...knowing that the president of our Harry Potter Booklovers club in our place is gay and that he is also great.

Honestly I always thought Remus and Sirius had this thing going on...Now when I found out that that wasn't true, I was heart broken. And when I found out about Dumbledore...well I'm still in shock. I never suspected he was.
