When it comes to freestyling, BIG L is the best period RIP!!! I'd give Eminem and Cassidy runner ups then Lil Wayne. Big L was ahead of his time.

Nas is better than Jay-Z.
- lyrically, he's more deep and poetic than Jay-Z.
- Illmatic (Nas' best album) was better than Reasonable Doubt (Jay-Z's best album)
- compared to the amount of good music Jay-Z's made, Nas has made loads more. out of the 8 or 9 albums Jay-Z made, only 2 or 3 are good. pretty much all of Nas' music is good.
- Nas never went commercial like Jay-Z did - he's been keeping it real since he made his first album. Jay-Z doesn't make good music any more - he makes crappy R&B and Bubblegum Hip-hop songs with Beyonce.
- 70%+ of Jigga's lyrics are ripped from other (better) MCs. just about all of his songs contain a line from a Biggie or a 2Pac verse.

not saying Jigga's crap - he's made some really great stuff. no doubt he's a talented rapper, but the amount of good music he made in relation to the amount of mediocre music he made isn't too good. he's overrated, especially considering his whole style came from Big L and Notorious B.I.G., and half of his lyrics aren't even his own.
