With fame comes responsibility and how much more accountable could you be when you are known as your countries Golden Girl? Paulina has gladly accepted that responsibility by becoming one of Latin Americas most acclaimed artist.
At the young age of 7 she joined the musical group Timbiriche and recorded 11 studio albums, selling millions of copies worldwide and performing sold out concerts in all of Latin America. A decade later Pau (as her fans call her) left the group and began a solo career in which she has recorded several successful albums such as La Chica Dorada(1992), 24 Kilates(1994), El Tiempo es Oro(1995), Planeta Paulina(1996), Paulina(2000), Border Girl(2002), Pau-Latina(2004) and most recently in 2006 Ananda.
Her albums have received many musical nominations and have won her multiple awards around the globe. As a solo artist Paulina has sold millions of albums and has been on several world tours, the most recent in 2007 for the album Ananda named Love, Light and Sound Tour.
Pau is currently recording her 9th album which will be in stores early 2009. Make sure not to lose sight of the Golden Girl as she promises to deliver another great success.
