REGARDLESS SOUNDGARDEN CAN HAVE THE ORIGINALITY AND THE RIGHTS TO THIS SONG BUT ILL JUST SAY THAT JOHNNY CASH IS A BAD ASS LEGEND AND SOUNDGARDEN.........NOT SO MUCH.

kno im going to get absolutely jumped on, but cash, especially at that point in his life did not have the vocal range for this song, and the musical arrangement does absolutely no justice to the original. huge ups to cash for being an icon and for recognizing the contemporary talent of soundgarden but their version is exponentially better.

actually, Soundgarden did it first in 1991, and then Johnny Cash covered it in 1996...at least that's what wikipedia says
