the reason why this song was made is because Geezer was into satan and hell at the time and Ozzy one day found an old 13th century book about satan. He gave it to Geezer. The next night Geezer woke up in the middle of a terrible nightmare only to find a black faceless figure at the bottom of his bed. He told ozzy, and he came up with the lyrics to this song.
