GN-001 Gundam Exia

GN-001 Gundam Exia is the protagonist unit of the first season of the anime series Mobile Suit Gundam 00, piloted by Setsuna F. Seiei. Designed for melee combat, The Exia's primary weapon is a massive metal blade called the GN Sword mounted on its right forearm which can be folded down to reveal a beam gun stored behind the blade. The GN sword is complimented by a pair of handheld swords called the GN Long and Short Blade which are stored on the hips when not in use as well as a total total of four beam blades; two sabers mounted behind either shoulder and two beam daggers mounted behind the waist. Finally, the Exia's arsenal is rounded out by a Shield as well as a small vulcan cannon built into each forearm. When the Trans-Am is activated, it boosts Exia's specs to 300% and the acceleration causes afterimages to appear.







GN-0000 00 GUNDAM

The GN-0000 00 Gundam is the successor unit to the GN-001 Gundam Exia. As Celestial Being's first and only 4th Generation Mobile Suit, the "00" (pronounced Double-O) possesses many of the previous generations' standard features, including the GN Drive and Trans-Am System, but also introduces the revolutionary "Twin Drive System", a cutting-edge GN technology originally conceived by Aeolia Schenberg himself. The system uses two GN Drives with compatible GN particle production as the basis for the system's operation, with their productive synergy, the amount of particles the two drives can produce is squared. When it utilizes Trans-Am as the 00 Raiser, the masive GN particle output acts as a catalyst for thought-based communitcation

The 00's weapons consists of two GN-Sword IIs, two GN Beam Sabers/GN Beam Daggers, and two GN Shields that combine together. They can also function as katar like weapons.





RAISER SYSTEMS

The Raiser System is the peripheral power of 0 Raiser when docked with 00 Gundam. In the 00 Raiser form, GN particle output reaches 300% production and gives 00 Gundam enhanced speed and power; while 0 Raiser can be used without a pilot, it requires one for complicated functions when it comes to calibrations, system adjustments, and mechanical control to effectively utilize the system. It's an overall massive GN particle charge that allows 00 Raiser to perform high energy consuming functions such as the Trans-Am Raiser System.
Trans-Am Raiser

Trans-Am Raiser is the execution of Trans-Am System in conjunction with 00's Twin Drive System in its 00 Raiser form. With 0 Raiser's GN particle stabilizer/regulator equipment, Trans-Am can be safely executed and the GN particle output is enhanced. When activated, 00 Raiser can utilize Trans-Am approximately 2-3 times longer the duration of a single GN Drive and can use the forward GN binders from 0 Raiser and GN Swords to create a massive GN Beam Saber that can extend at great distances to cut down objects.


Quantum Effect

When Trans-Am Raiser is activated, GN particles would burst concentrated particles within a limited circumference of 00 Raiser. At times, a OO (signifying 00 and infinite) can been seen when the system is activated. Through the power of synchronized GN Drive Trans-Am power, supernatural-like abilities is given to both 00 Raiser and its pilots. The surrounding battlefield encircling 00 Raiser would give the pilot and it's enemy targets the ability to read the thoughts and intentions of others in a limited area. This gives the pilots to temporarily detect and communicate with people around each other telepathically. Multiple exposures to the large amounts of GN Particles produced by Trans-am Raiser appears to result on the pilot itself to start developing senses capable of detecting Quantum Brain Waves. It was first noted when Setsuna (who wasn't aware of what it was) sensed Quantum Brain Waves sent out by Revive Revival to Anew in Episode 18.

Mirage Effect

An additional feature of 00 Raiser in Trans-Am is a particle mirage. GN particles can generate enough mass to produce an after image of 00 Raiser. In certain battle situations, the GN particles leaves behind a particle image of 00 Raiser while the true Gundam has already flanked the opponents position and the chance to defeat the enemy.
