You said it, Brother! By law, this theme should be played at some time between 11pm and midnight on Halloween Night all around the world thru speakers...this is the theme for "The Night of all Nights" of the year. Probably the next thing they should play should be the "Shape Stalking Laurie" motif...I've never been on a suburban street w/ pumpkins all decked out on porches, flickering, w/ ghosts, goblins, and witches hanging in the trees, accompanied by this immortal score playing in the air...but I've heard that's what some folks do on the Eve of the Dead...how gothically-cool must that be?! FYI, does anyone know what the name of the tune is that the kids are singing at the end? (and is this a recorded track for the score, or was this taken from another recording, before Carpenter put it in the film?)...I've always wanted to know...
