i love the end to this song.

I've always loved this song. One of his most underrated, in my opinion. (I also always thought the beginning was just plain sexy.)

My interpretation:

He won’t give credit to the main women in his life for their efforts
Wendy & Lisa who help him with song writing, Apollonia who loves him, and his mother for trying to save her marriage all the while being a good mother
So he loses control, Wendy & Lisa are upset, Apollonia is gone, and his mother took the father back
What’s wrong is his method of handling these situations-not the problems themselves
He must change or else the formula won’t work
