Ugh, why, why, WHY did I come on this trip. This is totally not my cup of tea. Going a week trip with my best friend, her boyfriend and his best friend, who happens to be a classmate. We were traveling Washington, going from our hometown, Vancouver to places like Seattle and Olympia.

And we are just about wrapping it up, today is Friday, and we have a couple more stops.

Right now, we are crossing into Oregon, Astoria to be correct. Going over the Historical Astoria Marker Bridge or something like that. All I did was stare out the window. Watching the sea. The clouds were low, and there was a slight drizzle. Water looked like fine silk or satin of a calming blue color. The stray drift wood look like fish skimming the surface of the water. I stared out in awe at the gorgeous scenery. The current song seemed to fit it quite nicely. Ducks sat on the waters suface, occasionally diving for fish. Seagulls flew on the top of the water, skimming it with their wings. When we reached the other side, the small town was simple, with a boat harbor. We wanted to go to St. Helens, Oregon. Then go to Long Beach, Washington. I was pulled out of my world when my best friend, Bri asked a question, until now, I hadn't been listening to anything that anybody has said.

"So, you going to Homecoming this Saturday?" She asked. Homecoming, I've been contemplating whether to go this year or not. I've already got a dress, courtesy of my mother. But, since my Bri already bought me tickets, she insists I go, since it'll waste 12$ of her 'hard earned cash'.

"I guess, since you already went ahead and bought me tickets already." I said, very boredly.

"Are you going with anyone?" I shook my head, I never get asked. It's not like I'm bad looking, I think it's my personality, I have a very wild personality. Well, with friends. I noticed Bri's boyfriend, Jake smirked and looked in the mirror to give his friend, Alex a 'go for it look'. That made me immediately suspicious. "Is there someone you would like to go with?" I nodded, getting her full attention. Of course, there were two guys I really liked. Jake's best friend, Alex happened to be one of them. And, the other one, Nate, just happened to be in a couple of my classes. He is total musician, jazz musician. He is laid back and cool, but, likes another girl, who has a boyfriend! Now, Alex, I'm not sure, and not to sound racist, but, I usually dont go for Mexicans*, but, he is so funny and nice, with great looks and a wonderful personality.





*Seriously, I do NOT want to sound racist...

This is kinda based on my life, and Alex, Jake, Bri, Nate are all real people, well, the names of people I know.
And, yes, Alex is Mexican, and a hot one at that.
