Great comments! You know what may make us agree almost 100%? The lack of quality in DKDT (DKCIII), there’s no way to compare I and II with the third.
Since you started commenting pro the opposition, let me do the same. Though I agree the environment in DKQ was (as you mentioned) very confusing at least to me, the thinking needed to beat the bosses was something very poor in DKC.
We should pick other fans opinions to analyze their feelings on DKC and DKQ.

I am starting to be convinced about DKQ superiority...but...I still don't give up:
DKC was a bonus itsel, because all your imagination was forced to be used. How come was one supposed to suspect the exit to one of the hardest stages was in a pit at the start? How come was one supposed to know a bonus was hidden in a bonus? How come was one supposed to know you had to go backwards to find a metallic barrel? How come was ne supposed to shoot barrels with the apes in the oppsosite direction?
I kept a hidden card: DKQ is actually DKC with some added details; the better the parent the better the child.
Forgive me I was late in response.

Ha! Ha! Ha! Yeah, you're right, one adapts to what the game demands, and the parrot was actually an annoying light, but you reminded me the hell she was to maneuver in DKQ!!! Anyway, another point to defend DKC is that…humph…I am running out of arguments…uh! You weren’t able to retry the bonus stages unless you retried the stage, in fact.

Yeah! If you are really into DKQ you have plenty of fun! However, DKC came up with 101% of secrets to find, that is a plus for it, he he!
There’s another point that makes DKC rock, the animal friends to ride (Ramby, Enguard, Expresso, Wanky and the Parrot) are more an aid and less a problem in DKC; in contrast, in DKQ you have to master the animal friends, especially when Diddy and Dixie are forced to turned into one of them.

Can't help accepting your arguments, they are too persuading. Though, Donkey Kong Country is the one that came up with the Gorilla Vs. Kremlings -not sure about the spelling- Concept, which DKQ changed by creating tons of new Characters -which might be accepted by considering the plot.
Another thing that makes DKC superior is the ballance that Donkey and Diddy make, which is not fair when you compare Diddy and Dixie.
Thanks for your comments on my "Elite Music Files" playlist. I expect your reply with fierce arguments pro DKQ!!!

Ok, visually DKCII is better. But what about the secrets? In DKC you don't depend on invisible barrels or coins! That makes the masters don't depend on good luck!
