some people interpret kombucha mushroom people as a reference to drug usage also since the tea made from this mushroom is a fermented tea to some it refers to alcohol consumption, and others have interpreted that it reference the artificial sweetner aspartame. Other interpretations go into references of political meanings behind it, or being slaves to the corporate world. It doesn't make any difference - SOAD rocks, and thats what counts!
