ABANDONED
So many years have passed,
It feels like a century.
Has it really been that long
Since you abandoned me?
You said we'd always be together,
It was a promise.
But it was just a cruel lie,
Shrouded by darkness.
Then after all this time,
You have the nerve to show back up here.
You're legendary smirk is on your face,
Which I bitterly mirror.
I ask why you have come,
To this place where you're forbidden
I glare daggers in your direction,
Before you calmly cut in:
"I just came to see you,
Cause I missed you very much.
I want to see if you've gotten better,
Or if you've lost you're touch."
I snarl and lunge,
Wanting to put you in your place.
But your strong fist ends up
Just inches from my face.
You've beaten me again,
Just like you always do.
I fall to my knees, sobbing,
Crying out to you:
"Why didn't you take me with you?
I would've gone anywhere with you,
You must have known that..."
Your gentle arms embrace me,
Whispering soothing nothings in my ear.
My eyes widen as you kiss me,
Hearing the words I've longed to hear:
"The reason you can't beat me,
Is cause you still love me like before.
And the reason I can't hurt you,
Is cause I love you even more."
... Well, wasn't that random? XD Trust me, when I wrote this, I was beyond bored. No, you don't even know, you don't understand... the boredom level was just... UGH!! lol
But anyways yeah, I know it's not that good but as I said I was bored so I just wrote this. Technically, it's meant to be a poem of the characters Soi Fon and Yoruichi from Bleach, in Soi Fon's point of view, however I never list any names or genders in the poem so if you want to picture it as different people, be my guest
