I don't know who the Author is but, I've
always loved this poem.


Why...

After all the times you hurt me
The times you made me cry
Why do I forgive you,
With every little sigh?

The times that you betrayed me,
And the times of painful good byes
Why do I still need you.
After all those many lies?

The times that you ignored me,
And the times that my pain has shown.
Why do I still care for you,
Though you left me all alone?

With the scars you left upon me,
And the tears that fall each day.
Why am I still in love with you,
Though you've treated me this way?

Black and blue
is the color of my frame
Kicks and punches
from my boyfriend is to blame

Motionless on the floor
my body lays
Because he gave me
another beating today

Pain consumes my body
Blood consumes the floor
I can feel I'm slowly dying
because I cant take it anymore

I don't want to let go
but why should I hold on
I have no pride left
all my self esteem is gone

I tried to give him the world
and all I wanted to be was his wife
But I guess he wanted more from me
So he took my life

I'm shocked I just seen the news about Heath Ledger found dead at the age of 28. Possible suicide over dose on over the counter sleeping pills.

I'm terribly upset and angry because he was such a great actor whom I liked very much and he just left his 2yr old daughter behind with out a father, very selfish.
